Through storytelling, transparency, knowledge and a little humor we will develop a community where you don't have to journey alone.

Do you have low self-esteem? Do you pretend to be confident around others when you are actually insecure and uncertain about who you really are? Have there been mental roadblocks or things that you have been taught that hinder you from having complete confidence? In this episode, I discuss some of the myths surrounding confidence and offer a shift in perspective related to how important it is to walk in true confidence. It is easy to put on an external facade of confidence without being able to internalize it, but in order to be all that God has called us to be we have to do more than pretend.  Instagram: @desireekatrice Website: desireekatrice.com Facebook: Desiree Katrice Clubhouse: @Desireekatrice

In this episode we discuss the importance of owning your own story. Pulled from a quote from Brene Brown that says, "you either own your story or stand outside your story and hustle for worthiness," we discuss why we tend to detach from parts of our story and intentionally work to shift our perspective to fully heal from past traumas and embrace all of our story.

We know that, as moms, if we do not do the work to heal from past trauma and embrace the totality of our story we run the risk of passing that brokenness, pain, shame, and trauma down to our children. If you are a person who has parts of your story that are less than favorable, then this episode is for you.

As we learn to handle our story with grace it will allow us to connect with others and empathize and handle them with grace as well.
