In this week's sermon, we look at Romans 11:33-12:2 and explore some of the nature of God and also discuss how we should respond to God.
I strongly felt led by the Spirit to offer some biblical wisdom to guide us as a church through some challenging times in our world. Godly wisdom will guide both our actions and our motives as we engage in thoughtful discussions and seek to be love and light in these days.
Life is filled with uncertainty, but we can rest secure in God’s truth and guidance in our lives. Trusting in God gives hope in hard times.
God never meant for His people to simply survive, but rather through Him to thrive in this life. In this message we will talk about where our overcoming hope comes from, why we can have it, and how we can use it to thrive.

In this sermon, I talk about how we have an eternal hope in Christ. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the hope of spending an eternity in heaven with the Lord.
In this sermon we discuss how God's love is personal and intimate, like a mother's love. God loves His children and we can take comfort and hope in knowing that He knows and loves each of us intimately.

In this last sermon in our "The Life and Ministry of Jesus" series, we take a look at the last moments that Jesus had with his disciples and discuss the implications of his predicted return to earth in the second coming.
We all desire for this pandemic to end, but should our focus be on going back to the way things were? Or is there something God wants us to take away from this? Together we will look into that question as we talk about the Great Commission.

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death came through sin, and so death spread to all because all have sinned— sin was indeed in the world before the law, but sin is not reckoned when there is no law. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. -2 Peter 1:20
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned. -Isaiah 9:2
They went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them -Marl 6:12-13

If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. -James 2:8-9
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. -Romans 8:18-21
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. -Hebrews 6:7-9
