Remember that you grand, and complex and exquisitely formed from the musical cords of memory, that your grestest relationship is with the universe, the magnificent cosmos within. Cosmic Sound gave birth to the universe. We are born with music and dance inscribed in every cell of our being. The human memory field is stupendous is engendered from sound vibration. Our Cosmic birth is transformed and sustained by the force of the five elements -Akasha, Space - being the most subtle of the elements and the infinite container in which we are continually replenishes intelligence.

We are imbued with cosmic memory formed from the very beginning of time. Every cell, atom in our body is sustained, nourished and calibrated by the vibration of these vibrational memories. We are endowed with a set of imprints that support our physical, emotional and spiritual anatomy- which is being automatically upgraded and refined by the cosmic sound. We experience, move and throb with the creation through both individually and collectively through cosmic memory. In this way, every exoeriencing is a form of remembering.

Prana- The power of breath, supported by many thousands of conduits from the cosmos. At this powerful time of human isolation, let us remember one of our most potent inner medicines which we may simply call upon to heal and be stronger, the power of breath. Prana controls the breath of the planetary heart. The fantastic rise of heart-related diseases and other health impairments are due, in part, to the dysfunction of bodily prana. When breath suffers, sadness prevails. This eternal breath moves the entire universe. Imagine the earth spinning in her galactic dance with other planets in the cosmos. What a gorgeous feat it is to observe prana. The breath of the planet is the source of vitalization and renewal. When this layer of energy is sickened, the earth and her inhabitants exude fear, pain, tremors, and spasms.

Pranayama, the practice of breathing in harmony with universal rhythms was handed down by the world’s oldest known cosmic physicists, scientists - the Vedic seers of the Hindu Tradition. This knowledge of prana, along with numerous breath practices can help us to seal health and keep us in harmony with our universe.

Go ahead...breathe consciously and leisurely, spend the next few minutes feeling the harmonic resonance you are creating wihin and without.

In this time of the divisive otherness when wars, hatred, violence and disasters erupt around the world, we are reminded that demonstrating kindness is the most effective path to healing rift, grievances, and despair. During these times, when we are overpowered by these conditions which may appear omni-present in our personal world, we are called to remember our nature of kindness. . Kindness is an innate part of human nature. We do not have to reach deep to find it. It is ever-generating, ever present. Kindness and Love are not emotions, these are attributes which are deeply configured into the DNA of our tissues and memory. These innate elements are always in the undercurrent of our lives waiting to rise to our rescue. Often, we suppress this nature through fears, preoccupation or distractions stemming from painful, difficult and disruptive occasions that are unfolding in our lives.

A Guru. The simple, pure form of the soul born to selfless search and service of the "I", The Self that is "Tat Tvam Asi" = "I am that illimitable consciousness". Across the vast swatch of nature, we are surrounded by the bliss of the Guru each and every moment. Each and every part of nature is a Guru, Mother Earth is a humungous Guru, each tree a teacher, each drop of water a devotee saint, every breath of air, a refreshing master. Nature's seed sovereignty is a ruling Guru without whose sacrificial participation we starve to death.

Did you know that every vulgar, vile, violent experience is a “Saturnal “ Guru, learning by the lash of the whip. However, arduous and bitter the lessons are these experiences remain our teaching curves. Our perennial Gurus. When first I wrote these words, my lessons from the vicious experience of being targeted by well-organized hate- driven bullies were still maneagable. It is twelve years later and myprivacy and human freedom are still at the mercy of unimagineable
intrusions, and violence against my physical beingness and work. Yet, these words of wisdom rise to serve me, to keep me sentient, to remind me that love is inscribed as a cellular memory in each and everyone of us, including the haters and misinformed. And it is this memory that we must lean on to carry us through to the light. When in evolution a human Guru takes birth, their paths are often riddled with sharpness, surrounded by the ignorance of the world, by biases, jealousies of those they serve, marginalization, ridicule and , in many cases, castration by violence and other vile acts against them.

In the popular world culture we are continually striving to seek the wisdom of the ancients, but we have to be sufficiently reconciled to our self-worth to be prepared to seek Self-knowledge. We want to learn from the master, the Guru but, for many, because we are so spiritually starved from the loss of self-sovereignty, we continually find ways to undermine the elder, disavow the lessons thrown in our path, oftentimes because we forget that the greatest Guru is the inner Guru.

During this time of global chaos, dysfunction, political, emotinal and planetary struggles each one of us may be challenged to find a dynamic sense of balance. Maya points to the Vedic way of understanding to show how brilliant our human anatomy truly is: that we have hidden treasures that we need to mine in order to arouse stamina, and reach our core strengths. She recommends the simple practice of Nitya Karma ~ the attitude of self-surrendering. Maya explores the simple, brilliant process of this surrender~ Listen In

We live in a country where there are more guns than citizens. 433 million registered guns in the USA. The culture of violence has become the norm.
The false values of corruption, Competion, rivalry, unkindness, ignornace and inhumanity are on the rise. The only way we can turn this tide around is through shifting our individual sense of value and esteem to Ahimsa- the timeless value of being a human being. Choosing to live in Ahimsa means choosing non violence, non-injury, and doing the work to cultivating inner harmony. Exposing or revealing dark thoughts, dark words, violent actions we give ourselves permission to open to healing our inner angst when we use these dark moments to shift our thinking, belief system away from the Otherness the binary, the duality is us/them that creates so much pain. For thirty five years Maya Tiwari has been teaching the inviolate work of awareness through the way of Ahimsa. Maya has personally helped thousands to heal, and continue with her own courageous journey as she muses about "ahimsa" from a very personal point of view. Through the Peace Mandala World Tours she has guided more than one million people in the Vow of Ahimsa. We invite you to listen, learn, share and, most of all, join us in the way of Ahimsa.

Mother Earth blesses us with a trillion natural medicines. in the ongoing reality of viruses, and contaminations, and environmental diseases, despair, and disasters it is high time we take back our human authority and integrity from the pharmaceutical agglomerates and their power driven race to profit from human disease and despair in the last century. This is our golden opportunity to take back our rightful reigns in reclaiming indigenous, native systems of medicine- so that, once again, we can heal, nourish ourselves, each other and Mother Nature.

To parrot Frederich Nietzche, when we stare into the abyss for too long, the abyss stares back at us. I have found myself staring into the abyss, perambulating its event horizon until my feet fell out, and my mind became blurred. The abyss staring back at me. Anger is necessary, it is a helpful way to vent, shout and scream out our rgae, discomfort, and tear out the injustice of it all. But anger has two faces; positive and negative. When we hang onto it, righeously or otherwise, for too long, it boomerangs with the same force of its output. Be aware. Never, never allow anger to fester for too long. Allow it to change and morph by shedding light to it, "my persceptive may be askew"; "I am not able to see the whole truth of it", " I am tired and need to step back from it.".... many lanterns are there to help shed awareness. And this gives the neccessary repreive to dissolve the intensity and one pointed dagger of anger.

As you may know from my work of Honoring Ancestors, evert angry, wrathful, violent thought and/or negative response we have ever issued can be traced to the cellular memories we carry within our genetic composition which had been sculpted by familial bloodlines. Ancestral memories mold our relationship to the world and can control our responses and behavior unless we bring awareness to them. The ancestors can be both the source of the hardship and the remedy. Each time we allow a challenge to push our buttons, we push deeper into the murk of ancestral chasm.

With ancestral awareness, and contInually bringing light to our angst, rage, worry, discomfort, we tend to make a more humane choice when faced with challenges. In this way, we transcend the ancestral ground of negative angst. We we grow, we morph into our humanity, always an uncomftable terrain. But, in so doing, we can elevate both ourselves and the ancestral spirits. Peace Be Your Journey!

This illusive, sought after thing is not an illusion. It is tge ever flowing vibration beneath the grime, crime, and slime of living. It is immutable energy always present always accessible, if we learn how to stay open to it. Happiness is not what we think it is. It is not to be found in the state of the mind. It is not a goal to be pursued.
Like desires, it arises from the depth of our past impressions stored within the cognition over many rebirths. We can no more control desires than we can control happiness. It is ever-flowing, generated by the unconditional desire to be happy. Happiness blossoms when we understand our nature is happiness.

Amid the dankness and chaos of our individual world and the world at large, we find ourselves hard-pressed to eke out the space and time necessary to pause, to breathe into the inner sanctum where the immortal happiness lives. But, this we must do- day after day, regardless and because of. Our primordial nature is happiness, our nature is the pure desire for freedom, liberation form the endless cycles . Ultimately, it is the character of our happiness that forges the way to freedom and consciousness.

Ode to Flaco- magical, mystical citizen of NYC

Partial Transcript-

Flaco, the Eurasian eagle-owl, beloved citizen of NYC died sometime early Friday morning, on Feb 23rd.
The snow moon has just risen in the eerie early morning. The researchers from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation traced two unique lunar communication behaviors of the Eurasian Eagle Owl during each of the major phase of the moon: vocal communication and visual communication. During the full moon the Eurasian Eagle Owl is turned on by moonlight. The brighter the moon, the more frequent the calls. But along with the owls' vocalizations is the moon’s affect on the owls’ visual communication. The study is one of the few that have looked at intraspecies communication of nocturnal birds and the findings provide further evidence lunar cycles affect the behaviors of animal species.

I choose to think that this celibate, monk-like bird was responding to his palpitating heart for his beloved owl mate. eagle owls communicate similarly at dusk and at dawn to when the moon is full, and suggest that this is because the amount of ambient light at dusk and dawn are about the same as a moonlit night.... shedding the aura of romantic hues this majestic creature was longing for the company of his mate. Eagle owls have white patches of soft feathers under their beaks that they show only when vocalizing. So, as the moon gets brighter, and the eagle owls are calling to their mates more frequently, so do these owls climb to higher perches where they can be more easily spotted. A grand freedom year to date, the Moon brilliantly relecting in the high perches of glass windows, Flaco obeying his avian instinct must have flown into his own reflection made bright by the vision of moon. He reached not the open skies, nor the enbrace of his beloved girl-owl but a crushing barbarism, crashing to his death. His spirit released, he is soaring in the high ethers alongside his proud ancestors, and perhaps there his spirit has already enjoined his beloved mate.

His radical journey from captivity at the Central Part Zoo - from the time he was a fledgeling 13 years ago, to his absolute freedom on the historic day of Feb 2, 2023 when his cage was cut open, demands our reverential awe. Falco took his maiden flight to freedom and was never captured again until he laid down, body vanquished, spirit risen on the cold concrete slab at 89St on CPW. Flaco's momentous act of freedom has split open each one of our hearts. Owls are known to never follow the herd, they live independently, cherishing their own company, the ooutlier of the avian species.

The freedom seeker, Flaco is a magical, mystical New York story. He is helping every disciples to reveal our own back story. Like every act of martyrdom in deeply troubled times, Flaco's plunge to certain death instills a reverence for the lifeforce, diminishing the fears we carry around toxic urban disease, death and dying. My own story swelled up inside my throat. I grew up in Greenwich Village; left the city to build my non profit school in the wilderness of North Carolina, acres of Cherokee forest where I could seed my Ayurveda gardens. But I kept returning to the city, to that imperishable creative vortex force where the spirit of its citizens is held in abeyance. After twenty years, the tide of harmony had turned in my forest. Barbarism against my person, as spiritual person, a woman of colour, a successful woman, a woman of Hindu origins, a woman of robes, escalated, targeted as I were by the brutal network of the many tentacled patriarchs. So just a few months ago I decided to close my operations in NC and returned to my home base in the city, largely because I heard and empatized wi

Maya explores the way Sanskrit chants, pilgrimages and other awe-inspiring practices of Nature heighten the natural scalar waves responsible for cohesion and wellness in the body. The way science views the pilgrim’s experience can be said, as follows: Scalar waves generated in the body provide an energetic communication system that connects all cells. This energy contains the power of the universe and has unlimited potential. All pilgrimages heighten our inner resource of positive vibrations within the body. Positive mental attitude is communicated through the scalar field generated by thousands of möbius coils at the cellular level and can effect the cell’s mode of growth or protection. Scientists have created scalar wave generators for therapeutic purposes and have confirmed that a scalar field can create a twenty-fold stimulation of cell growth in human immune system cells.

This heightened vibration was evident as my colleague and I journeyed along the magnificent southern plains flowing in tandem with the Kauveri River, a few years ago. I noticed how faithfully the river led, guided, and blessed us as we crisscrossed her boundaries. On this seamless serpentine route, rural women soaked fully clad in her abundance; they washed clothing by beating them on rock surfaces whilst children playing, splashed about in the water; white egrets stood on royal guard in tall grasses of the bordering marshland - protecting the sublime energy of wholeness in these raw, bare-chested villages. The scalar waves' energy was naturally heightened during this pilgrimage North and South in India. The feeling of awesome wellness pervaded.

Today, I received the shocking news about an old friend. She is an elderly mother who was evicted from her home by her one and only son and daughter-in-law. At every turn of life, we can come face to face with bitter lessons, and the hearless actions of those who facilitate them. During these times, it seems equally heartless to console the aggrevieved with words like, " remember the good days you shared, remember to keep your heart consoled by being grateful for the multitude of good things in your life, and not focus exclusiviley on the bitterness of the day."
This too may seem like cruel advice given the tired moment while despairing.

But....the way to healing all suffering is through remembering gratitude. It is easy to be grateful for the kindness shown to us, for gifts of friends and joyful occasions. But in the most important juncture of our lives, when the darkness of despair can shroud hearts and souls, or during the lonely hours of despair, disillusionment, and/or disease when hope wanes, and support appears to be non-existent, and kindness cannot be felt, all is not lost: We have the way of gratitude to turn to, a conduit that for millions of years have been the proven way to recapture inner space, to stretch open the amity of our innate awareness, to lighten the burdens of the heart and to simply connect back to a universe that can never forsake us........a beautiful exposition by the one and only, Maya Tiwari, on the power of gratitude during the darkest of days.

A worthy rerun of this awesome episode:
Although we may strive for hapiness in our lives, it often appears illusive.... but happiness is not a chase or a hunt, it is a primoridial longing in tge very cell and memory of our vital tissues. It is to be seized from moment to moment. Becuae it is generally wrapped in the mundane , in routines, in events we take for granted. Listen to the melody of the winds brushing against space, or the drops of water filtering into a pond, or the beauty of a grazing herd of deer, or meeting and reveling in the company of old friendships. Mother Nature provides us endless excursions of happiness if we listen to and feel her song, and most importantly, cherish it.

We are formed from the universal cosmic sound. The Vedic seers refer to this Sound as "OM".  This sounds incorporates all sounds. There are trillions of sounds which are endemic to our cosmos that heals. Every cell, memory and tissue is formed from the cosmic sound. Sound Medicine is our natural inner medicine, free and abundantly available in nature. Indeed, sound is central to the very act of creation. Vedic lore tells us that Goddess Durga rode her lion, carried her damaru (a small, double-headed drum whose sound is associated with the element of space), and drummed the world into existence. Sound, as healing force, is a cornerstone of all the great spirit traditions. Consider the idea that life itself emanates from sound, for what is sound but audible breath, the rhythm and melody of the One spirit that dwells within all things? Sound vibration is a manifestation of life energy, and that life energy, or prana, is the basis for self-healing.

At this pivotal time in human consciousness evolution, at the third year milestone of COVID-19, the most important practice we can do is neither physical/emotional, or financial. It is the selfless practice of prayer – spiritual service that helps to restore ancestral memory so that we may heal the long ignored rift with the spirit world. In this way we can begin to heal ourselves and Mother Nature.

At every moment we can be rejuvenated by nature's sunds, music, the whistling of the wind, the plopping sound of the rains, the gushing waters, the hushed leaves of the autumn.  In my years as a Vedic monk, chanting the Sanskrit mantras on a daily basis kept my vibratory field high and illumined. During those years, I lived in a large pristine forest, chanted with cows, meditated with deer  and basked in the gift of Nature's inner medicine sound healing. Years later, I was to face the profound  experience of being targeted with violence and abuse that relentlessly escorted my life for more than a decade. In this episode I speak to my own expereinces of  fears, its impact of devastating gravitational pull to the lower vortex of darkness and loss and the phenomenal healing journey of  high vibrational sound that reawakened me to life.  May we always remember our blessings even through the dark gravitational pull of fear.  Listen In~

We are forever healing. We heal into life. We heal into living and into death. We feel divided not because of our differences but because we do not support or allow each other the powerful diversity that manifests within each one of us. Our gender and biological sex is a potent example of this view. Gender differences is but one minute factor in the quintillion variety of nature’s  majestic realm mirrored within the  human person. To heal and reclaim wholeness, it is critical that we embrace the reality of Shiva-Shakti - and note the brilliant multiplicity of  energy which courses within and through each and every human person. This primeval force goes way beyond gender binary to the infinite.

Awareness thrives when we are able to create and recreate space within ourselves; Especially during arduous, violent and brutal circumstances when living appears to close us down, we tend to shrink our joy, and sense of purpose. Maya unfolds the power of awareness through her own profound personal experiences.  She informs that awareness is the innate intelligence that is imbued in each and every person. She reminds us that the key to healing is in the preservation of inner space- that we must continually safeguard our inner space in such a way that at the end of every day we evict all unwelcome thoughts, absurdies, vile intrusions and simply breathe ourselves back into Being. Sit for brief periods of time in your eternal, every generating light of awareness.

A reminder for this Intent:

"I Am Aware. Awareness is my nature. I create and recreate space within me."

The time has come to rid the false belief system that keeps us mired in a "race" conflict. Maya elucidated the knowledge that we are all formed from an ancient genetic weave that interlaces our blood lines. The taboo of racial divide, racial hatred, bigotry has been paying out for centuries and we have bought into it. Humanity has endured countless invasions, terrorism, violence amongst empires and nations based primarily on "racial divide and varying ideologies. In fact, there has never been a time when wars, invasions or violence were non-existent.There is burgeoning new evidence from genomic science that is inadvertently proving that we all have indelible blood ties to each other. What if I were to tell you that you are a composition of several genomic factors, and that there is no such thing as as the ethnicity such as being a person who is pure white, black, brown, yellow or red race? Our cultural genealogy is adapted and formed from the various interactions of states' invasions and occupations, trading among nations, vacation tourism, sexual tourism, inter cultural marriages.

Did you know that Africa is not only the cradle of humanity but ancient African genes may well be imprinted upon at least 2/3 of the world’s population? Isn't it high time, we set aside our racial differences, embrace our myriad diversity and connect to each other simply as a person of the same humanity?

At this pivotal time of humanity's progress into consciousness when our collective psyche is being scrubbed by grief, sadness, anger and loss, we need to invoke a global Egregore for Peace. That is, the collective thought form of the world's citizens synced for peace.

As humanity faces catastrophic climate change, a pandemic, hunger and violence and chaos across our world, we can feel challenged, frustrated, and in many cases, hopeless by it all. the positive news is that there is something we can do about it~ We can make a sacred intent to preserve our daily awareness to self peace; we can be the witness of our own progress by being conscious of societal, communal or familial pressures. We can flatly refuse to enjoin anything less than the good for all humanity~

We do have a choice to refuse to join the group though form for violence and unseemly acts against Nature and Self. Although we live in a most vulnerable time, bombarded by electronics, saturated by destructive technological, we are facing a positive horizon for change, where light abides. So let's take pause, breathe, do less, think less and gather ourselves in a state of bearing witness to the rescue of humanity's awareness. This is advise in the learning which I find myself coming back to time and time.......

Self-peace is the most priceless peace. It is the cultivation of inner harmony, a calm that is earned and fought for, a calm that years of arduous work and commitment to living in awareness can generate. I earned this inner calm through more than 45 years of challenges and hard inner work. finally. Then when I was finally poised in myself, this peace was stripped to the bare by health and peace eroding efforts of being targeted by powerful covert groups. Relentless, it was. And so I now set out to re earn my stasis, my equanimity, having faced a dire reality in our world, by witnessing first hand over enduring years the scourge in humanity that appears to be gaining more ground into the privacy and sanctity of our lives. Peace, then, do not allow us to bask in our robes or rest in our laurels. It is an every present witnessing of awareness, without judgments, or even condemnation of the evil.

Keeping at ease with ourselves, family and hearth is not an easy accomplishment, but it is the anthesis of wars, conflict, bitterness, grief, and all the tentacles of evil which are currently unfolding on planet earth, and have been ongoing for beginning-less eons. Did you know that you are spiritually immutable? That our human spirit holds as much light as the planet Sun? That the sun can hold 50 billion Earths? Yes, this means we can do anything we set our hearts to doing, including creating self-peace when the vista around us appears bleak, unpromising, and hopeless.

Often we think of forgiveness as forgiving the others for crimes foisted upon and actions against us…the greater part of forgiveness lies in forgiving ourselves. For every situation of angst, hurt, betrayal, or violence is created by an invisible web of cause and effect………that likely goes back as far into the obnubilate past. Somewhere in the vast ancestral history we go back to fight battles, reconcile mistakes, or simply to become more human in our process. After all, whatever the story, is this not what challenges are about?

In Sanskrit the word for "forgiveness" is Kshama . It has many layers of unfolding. Kshama means forbearance and forgiveness, and can refer to the capacity to forgive others and forget the past. It relates to releasing time, and being attentive to the unsettling emotional process.

Kshama implies that to forgive, truly forgive we must travel to the extremity of patience ~ biding bitter time in the ever slow process of endurance, allowing time to reset our mind while the heart settles. Grief always precedes forgiveness. It is necessary to allow grief to take its course. When we race to the ideological behavior of “forgiving" the abuser, the tormentor, the vile and ugly anthropogenic actions, before we are organically ready to do so we are, in fact, putting our own natural healing process on hold; doing what we feel we should do; being generous with our emotions. But this always backfires, because we get angrier from recognizing that the ugly monster rears its head again, and again.

Maya Tiwari, world renowned Vedic  scholar, author and Ayurveda matriarch speaks to the meteoric rise of Nuclear mining of the human body for energy production and its dehumanizing effects on humanity:

At present, I am sitting in my new home in Asheville, NC, awed by the deja vu - a repeat performance of the chicanery of activities that I recently left behind in Albuquerque, NM where  a major Nuclear Lab, neatly ensconced in the embrace of the massive airfare Base is mining nuclear energy production through the bodies and minds of live human people. It appears no place in the world is exempt from the tentacular reach of this obscene business .......

Hatred is not an imbued trait of the human person, it is a cultivate emotion that runs through the rivers of endless generations, based on their belief systems. Racism is one fo the more common expression of hatred. Being  a targeted individual is a clear example of hatred, a more devious scenario than racism. Hatred stems from the belief that groups of humans possess different behavioral traits corresponding to inherited attributes and can be divided based on the superiority of one person over another; hatred is a multi tentacles affair that can be spurred on by infinite numbers of assumptions, and circumstances. One can be passionately hated for being a truth-sayer.....

In honoring Elizabeth, I do not disavow the savages of Britain’s colonized occupation of peoples and countries.

I honor the woman for the remarkable being that she was.

As I watched an intriguing video from the British Pathe Archives of Elizabeth's initiation into the Druid culture my skin shivered, recalling memories of my own initiation as a synnassin in the Vedic tradition. Indeed, every spiritual initiation that heels us securely into purpose is a glorious and priceless one.  Born in British Guiana in the year of her ascension to the throne, the love we bore for the queen was undaunted. She played such an important part in our lives growing up. Let us not forget that more than a royal, she was a woman who played a cardinal role in the advancement of women’s power to heal  and rule~ a signature of her Jupiter and Mars in humanitarian Aquarius and her trailblazing first house. In 2017, she became the first female head of state to attend a cabinet meeting in over 300 years.

Death. We are forever dying and rebirthing into new life. At the end of the season of each session of birth/death, we can bring about a release of fears and angst about the unknown journey we are all destined to take, over and over again.  Death is known by many names, each one can be fearful, and fearsome. Yet, there is deep beautify in letting go especially when we know that we must.  In Sanskrit, "Death" is called. Mṛtyu, मृत्यु . We are pioneers of a new movement of conscious, evolving, and open-hearted Homo sapiens, defying the old paradigms and binaries and awake enough to walk beside each other as we change the world forever. I want to help men to remember that there was a time when they were free, when their noble Shiva voices rang out like nightingales against the tremors of a palladium welkin.

Did you know, the idea of gender clothing is fairly new. Skirts and frocks once worn by men allowed them to move with fluidity and freedom. Long gowns and full-skirted coats with or without embroidered ornamentation was an acceptable and fashionable part of men's wardrobe until the first half of the 20th century. Shirts were the practical dress of our most ancient civilizations, on both sides of the gender binary. Fluent cloths worn as wraps, sarongs, dhotis, kurtas,  and loincloths, togas were replete among men of all social stature. Short skirts among soldiers were considered proof of virility, and allowed for swiftness while in combat. Male attire was dominated by short hemlines paired with stockings worn as outer leg wear which showed off their well-formed, muscular legs......

Silence heals. Silence revives spirit. For just this timeless bit of time, put aside anger, agendas and whatever is weighing you down. Silence reminds us of our timeless, untethered Self. Be Still. Listen to the hushing sounds before the silence, observe:  In observing we become still.  Emulate the stillness of nature. And you become friends with silence.  Stillness is the gift of awareness. Stillness is the secret of the trees and mountains.  They are in no hurry to accelerate the process of becoming.  When you bathe in moonlight, you become moonlit; when you sit in the forest, you become the essence of the trees; when you climb a mountain you become that mountain.  They are all essential stillness in quiet motion.  Observe nature and allow yourself to be transformed.

Sit in yourself for twenty minutes.  Allow yourself to be untethered, to receive the light. Allow the pain to jut be so it can pass.  Allow the simple grace of your being.  Allow. If there is anger, give it space to fret. Give it space to play itself out. Observing silence is the natural grace of presence.  Let go. Surrender to the Silence.

The ancients claimed that all substance of life is created from the dust of Mother Moon, our cosmic source. The moon’s perpetual cycle determines our rhythms, desires, vibrations and possibilities on the earth. Its luminous and visibly shifting shape keeps our heads craning upwards to the magical skies and heavens. The moon significantly influences a woman’s biorhythms and her body, mind, and spirit are intricately connected to her cycles.

Science is now beginning to scratch the surface of women’s health and reproductive relationship to the elemental energies of nature. In a recently published article in Molecular Biology, scientists Gabriela Andreatta and Kristin Tessmar-Raible report on their research on molecular mechanisms of lunar controlled rhythms. “Why is cellular respiration in which cells pulse between empty and full, the foundation of life? It is plausible that …the first life forms adapted to the different rhythms controlled by the moon.”

Less than a century ago, the names given to the moon told the whole story of a people’s rhythmic way of life. Living in accord with the lunar calendar maintained the ancestral memory of the crones. This way of being, of honoring the cyclical, circular movement of time kept their vibrant memory alive. People had an intimate relationship with nature and the earth as they moved from day to day in rhythm with the lunar wheel.

In  my 40 years of teaching holistic healing ways, I have found taking a pause on a daily basis has helped me to stay present with my inner being. In so doing I'm continually able to navigate my way through the mired twists of work, challenges, triumphs,  downfalls, successes and failures.  The first cosmic law for humanity is ahimsa, practicing non-harm. Ahimsa informs that to fulfill our destiny as a conscious being  we must strengthen our capacity to grow awarenessIn this meditative practice we do not  search for or expect immediate answers to a dilemma.

This practice simply helps us to create spaciousness within. After practicing for a while, you find that the right questions will arise and that your mental state is poised with more clarity.  The turbulence of thoughts, emotions, guilt, fear, and so on becomes stilled.  Indeed, just sitting in nature by a steam of running water, or in a farrowed sunlight field, or in any serene setting can help you to take pause, breath, and simply be.

What is an eco-community? Is it for the like-minded and those who have similar goals? To serve a true spirit of community, it must be inclusive, we must learn to embrace those with different values, spiritual beliefs, and life goals. A true eco -community is one where we reach out to diverse interests and  at the same time, share respect and kindness with each other.  Citing the Panchayat practice of ancient Vedic tradition ~ we see how each village was responsible through its Panchayat, or committee of five elders, for maintaining the home ground in the forests within its own locality. A community is a safe non-judgmental space where  the despairing, the disgruntled, the pure spirited, the disparaged, the disabled, the affluent, the poor, the ambitious, the creative, all co-exist in harmony with each other. In the Panchayat system, no village was complete without its corresponding mature woodlands, and  animal husbandry. In the spirit of community, we never encroach or use more space than necessary. Everyone shares in the  tending of groves for providing fruits, flowers, timber products, and shelter for grazing cows.

We have not understood the Primordial Feminine and Masculine divine principle at all. And as as result, we are living the experience of the feminine/masculine divide.
Erosion and deliberate deviation from Shiva-Shakti education/understanding demonstrate the current miasma we find our selves in. The resultant Mother Wound we are experiencing is deep. It is endemic in the entire planet. From time unknown, while the mores of patriarchal power has had a profound and devastating impact on Mother Nature, her earth, ocean, the whole environment between earth and sky, as well as every creature and human on her living planet, we can trace the mother wound to the very onset of life on earth.

Over centuries, we have been pummeled into the abyss of the darkscape (my own word. We find ourselves damaged, broken, and disassociated from the root calling of our primordial feminine and the primeval masculine. At its core, the primordial feminine energy has been perverted, and as a result this dissonant reality which not only affects the health, wellbeing and sentiency of a woman, but also the welfare of men and all beings in nature.

The primordial feminine is the energy that gives birth to humanity, it is the vibration that sustains Mother Earth, it is the womb of our universe. Once in a state of in-equanimity, all of nature goes askew, and so too the primordial male energies.

Therefore, to repair the harms in the whole of humanity- Shakti/Shiva, Yin/Yang, we must first and foremost pay primary attention to restoring the primordial feminine energy of Mother Earth. The maternal value for sustaining, safeguarding, nourishing and nurturing life on earth cannot be devalued or dismissed.

We are all caught in the liminal time.  What is liminality? It can be called your cocoon time,  the time of stillness, congealed by time and space, the not knowing, the not thinking, the acceptance of being squeezed into the tight state of  "cocoonism". This is the awareful space that does the thinking for you,  the mindless state of non-waiting. Ahh, but because we are still alive and breathing in this dimming environment, our passage through it demands patience: “Have patience. All things are difficult before they become easy,” says the Persian poet, Saadi Shirazi. Liminality is always scary, claustrophobic, vulnerable but it a natural state for personal growth, occurring more frequently than we can imagine. .Ultimately, our liminal space/time is about accepting that we do not know, we are not privileged to know the unknown, we will not know until it is revealed. And if w persist till birth-time,  we emerge with wings.

In these next few episodes Maya speaks to the wisdom we must know  when death is imminent, in a die-er's journey.  From her own multiple expereinces of near death, she guides us to the impending door with loving ease and wisdom: In our present culture of despair, destruction, disasters, it is long overdue that we open and embrace the wisdom that the impending, imminent  journey of dying entails.  In our modern culture, we  have a scarcity of appropriate words, sentiments, knowledge that reveals a die-er's journey: Wisdom that can alleviate fears- fear of of the unknown, fear of the dark. We must come to terms with both the inevitable  darkness and lightness of life. We are affected by both light and dark. For endless eons, we have been avoiding the concept of the dark. The dark which is always paralleling the light. There can be no day with , no sun without moon, no life on earth without both energies. There is so much we are yet to discover and learn about the mind and its operations.
Our modern medical system find itself in the midst of considerable intellectual turmoil and facing some striking contradictions with less answers to healing, and restoring health, especially the health of mind. Our individual minds are inundated, agitated, exhausted by the onrushing current of “to do’s”  of human activities which presage a despairing state of humanity’s  awareness evolution.

The reason for this burgeoning dilemma is that we are losing life-generating communal living  - that bonding of trust factor that is so imperative to humanity’s well being. Everything we do in our neoliberal modernization of life and living is executed without employing  the mind's foremost faculty of keen awareness. Modern health sciences tend to assume a linear, superficial exploration of the mental/psychic anatomy with no real understanding of the role that this complex organism  plays in each and every endeavor of the human person.

Kindness, Maya tells us, is an innate part of human nature. We do not have to reach deep to find it. It is ever-generating, ever present. Bringing kindness to the fore is especially necessary during times of chaos, confusion, disease, and despair.  During these times, when we are overpowered by these conditions which may appear omni-present in our personal world, we are called to remember our nature of kindness. Kindness and Love are not emotions, they are the primary elements of our human nature: Deeply configured into the DNA of our tissues and memory. Kindness and Love are the precursors of our humanity.  These elements are always there  for our rescue. Often, we suppress these most precious human intrinsic elements  through fears, preoccupation or distractions of the painful, difficult the despairing that are unfolding in our lives.

Maya hopes to clear up the myriad confusion on the subject of the popularized sentiment of "Guru". She restored the original meaning and intent of this sacred Sanskrit word and elaborates on its deep meaning. We have entered a popular trend where we believe throwing out the Guru will solve our problems of seeking knowledge, searching truths, and otherwise understanding the meaning of our own lives. Here is why we're battling with modern societal conditioning about what is a Guru.

Indeed, there are many pseudo-gurus, some who boasts magnetic personalities that can swerve naive seekers astray; there are many more who are masters of manipulating modern societal conditioning to their advantage and thereby cultivate massive groups of enthralled followers.

And then there is the Guru.

When in evolution a human Guru takes birth, their paths are often riddled with sharpness, surrounded by the ignorance of the world, by biases, jealousies of those they serve, marginalization, ridicule and , in many cases, castration by violence and other vile acts against them.

In the popular culture of America, for example, we are continually striving to seek the wisdom of the ancient East, but we have to be sufficiently reconciled to our self-worth to be prepared to seek Self-knowledge. We want to learn from the master, but, for many, because we are so spiritually starved from the loss of self-sovereignty, we continually find ways to undermine them, disavow their worth, oftentimes because learning lessens of Spirit can be hurtful , and sometimes we simply feel challenged to prove our own worth.

Where is our "home"? Can we remember? What is our home? Maya describes it as follows: Our home is comprised of three main chambers: Body, Mind and Earth. In defining what "home" really is, we hope that our listeners will recognize/approach Mother Earth as a core component of the Sacred Self.
Throughout history, we have been experiencing the anthropocene effects on Mother Earth. In large part, our human memory recall of the Sentient Earth has become progressively dulled. We can hardly remember where home is, or barely understand that home is far greater than a piece of architecture.

There is a general miasma that clouds even the most brilliant science of our time; the mis-truth that science and spirituality are two entirely separate entities. In the last century, we have developed a host of "bad anthropogenic sciences" because the idea that spirit is always non-separate from scientific discoveries/advents remains a popular belief in the scientific community.
In Native traditions we recognize that science depends on spirituality, and can never fulfill its noble or brilliant vision unless this premise is understood by modern physics/science.

Maya explores the multi-layered process of forgiveness.
Is it an emotion, an intelligence, an etiquette, or a behavior? Is it an art or a science? She tells us  Forgiveness is about none of these things. She mirrors Forgiveness through the Sanskrit tradition demonstrating the many levels of reality we must endure before we reach the plinth of forgiving. Maya meticulously sets out  the process of successfully reaching the gateway of forgiving.  First off, through her own extraordinary expereinces  she cites grief, expectations, and sadness as the three massive layers that we must expose, reveal, and reconcile before the act forgiveness occurs.

What does it mean to be heard? A  profound question that pierces into the  heart of our humanity. The answer to this imperative question sheds light on the quagmire of difficulties that persists in our world. Simply put, in order to heal and connect with each other, we must hear each other. Sharing the word, and hearing the word must once more become a seamless flow of communion amongst us. This  process have been diminished over the centuries - an endemic need which is a deeply imbued in the human anatomy. Communion amongst is imperative if we are to heal the heart of humanity.

Maya addresses this deep question from the ancient Vedic perspective of the innate power to "hear", and to "speak". We have a superficial understanding of the deeper implication of these sacred, human processes to utter speech, and listening to hear. In the Vedic Sutra that espouses the underlying and overriding process of "vach" and "shruti" , we are provided with the wisdom to use our faculty of speech and listening as sacred tools that reveal universal truth.

Maya unfolds the Vedic insights to Shravanam, Mananam, Nididhyāsanam~

To heal and make whole the maternal life force, each and every person must reclaim the feminine energy necessary to restore health, wholeness, love, and joy within. In doing so, we reclaim our cyclical rhythm with Mother Earth as ancient ancestors did.

It is imperative that we not only reclaim the Divine Feminine Force but that we bring back to balance the Divine Masculine Energy and the immortal dance of the Feminine Masculine which holds our world in pristine balance.  The primeval feminine and masculine must work in unison to balance the primordial energy on earth so that we can reverse the free fall.  We grew weary of witnessing the breakdown of maternal memory, the erosion of the Divine Feminine force as a result of the corruption of the primordial masculine power.

The first cosmic law for humanity is ahimsa, practicing non-harm. Ahimsa informs that to fulfill our destiny as a conscious being we must strengthen our capacity to grow awareness. In my 40 years of teaching holistic healing ways, I have found taking a pause on a daily has helped me to stay present with my inner being. In so doing I'm continually able to navigate my way through the mired twists of work, challenges, triumphs, downfalls, successes and failures.

This Maya's 15-minute long Ahimsa meditation, when practiced, can be immediately helpful for those who are seeking to cultivate inner awareness, widening our inner sense of spaciousness so we can breathe and flow better with it all. This simple act of pause allows the mind, emotions, and uncertainties to settle. We can be at ease even amid chaos.

In this meditative practice we do not search for or expect immediate answers to a dilemma.

Let us enjoin spirit and begin the journey into the Ahimsa Pause.

At this pivotal time of humanity's progress into consciousness when our collective psyche is being scrubbed by grief, sadness, anger and loss, we need to invoke a global Egregore for Self-Peace. We can flatly refuse to enjoin anything less than the good for all humanity~ We do have a choice to refuse to join the group though form to violence and unseemly acts against the nature of Self.  Albeit highly vulnerable, this is a  positive span of time when we are being asked to take pause, breathe, do less, think less and gather ourselves in a state of being the witness to the preservation for awareness.  Listen In~ to this powerful talk by Maya~

Fear ~  its blessings and adversities;
Fear is a natural human emotion/response. Each and everyone of us  experiences fear in our lifetime. What matters most is how we respond to fear. We can mitigate its impact on our actions, hopes, dreams and forward progress. First though, we need to understand the anatomy of fear, what part of its baring journey we are responsible for,  the circumstantial elements that we can shift, and those that are beyond our control.  When fear globules in our energy field become persistent, we tend to lose the sense of self, we become distracted by its tenacious force and can lose control. Maya's heart-awakening revelation of the purity of love mulched from her lived experiences of immense darkness which she calls the ground for birthing Love - the state of pure peace, inner beingness.  She reminds us of the ever glowing light that is with us even through our darkest moments of despair. She teaches us to recognize the love inherent in our own organs of action.
We are physically, and psychically formed from the elements that created love: For instance, a  hand filled with love is a hand that heals others.  Our hands are feet are perfect conduits of the universe’s life force or prana. The hands and feet are the two farthest extremities of the physical body.  Our hands touch the elements of wind, space, and fire; our feet tread the elements of water and earth.  They are in continuous communion with nature’s five elements.  Our feet carry us from place to place.  Our hands embrace, offer and receive.  Every fiber of memory strives towards motion just like a child who first begins to walk and touch the objects of the world.  We are sustained only by the perpetual memory of love.

The great Vedic seers who observed and understood the cosmic network of vibration and energy in the universe espouses that we are formed from the same sentience and consciousness of our universe. This awareness is expressed through simple, routine things we do every day ~ the little actions lined with love. The more conscious we become of the river of little things flowing through our daily lives, the more we flow in love. Love is not something we do. Rather, it is the essence behind everything we do. Even when negative actions, deeds get in the way of it, love is there, it is our true nature. Through our Dhatu- System in Ayurveda, the ancient seers speak of "love" "Sneha" held within seven layers of vital tissues that hold the memory and vibration of cosmic intelligence. In the action of digestion, for instance, in which we engage the process of transforming nutrients, each vital tissue informs the subsequent tissue until love is fulfilled. Indeed, the quality of the food we eat, the thoughts we think, the flow of everyday action, "Sadhana" has an immense bearing on the content of the love we are strengthening. In practicing Sadhana, wholesome activities that are in consonance with Mother Nature and our environment, we are continually replenishing the "inner medicine of love". We can heal ourselves. We have the power of Sadhana to generate love, wellness, and happiness within ourselves. Listen In~

The grief of loss: Loss is one of the potent triggers beckoning grief to the fore. I have not included “loss” as one of the cardinal characteristics of grief, since in my purview, the sense of loss is one of many symptoms of grief and not one of the primal causes.   However, the sense of loss is a powerful trigger to bid grief forward.

Let’s explore “loss”. When we lose loved ones, we naturally endure a sense of loss, followed by an undetermined period of mourning.  The sense of loss is always rooted in deep memories. The deeper the symptoms of being lost, the longer it takes to process grief and restore her to her abode in the shadows.

During the period of loss, we are forced to dig deeper.

We live in an era when the shifting ground of our earth scattered us asunder when broken wings are tumbling in space - and everything appears to be in a state of chaos, as it transmogrifies into its new radical form…..We have been wrong about “Grief”.  She is not the fearsome adversary, the unwanted consort, the inexplicable companion of misery. She is, in truth, your best friend who chooses to live in the shadow of your lives, sacrificing the pleasure of the light. Times of random and pervasive chaos call us to take charge of our filial destiny, we take the role of creator to shape the new world.

The new form that earth is malleable, it is created by all of us.  In whichever way we respond to these radical changes determines the degree of light or dark in the new earth being born. During this time of transformation, we naturally feel the palpable presence of Mother Grief.  If only we recognize her to be our best friend.

The human voice is the most powerful sound in the universe~ it is imbued with the cosmos's symphonic, multi-layered vibrations. At its profound root within the human organism, is Silence ~ the essential vibratory ground from which intelligence and consciousness arise. All sounds are birthed from the cosmic sound vibration, the most conscious being the human voice.  The voice is a primary conduit to gaining awareness; consciousness being the innate potential that only humans possess.  Albeit, it is said in the Vedas that we use only the fourth quarter of the voice's potential based on the Whole Quadrant of intelligence that is contained in the field of cosmic sound.

Words, speech, language~indeed, all sounds of the universe, compose the medley of conscious existence, From the lofty tremor of the human voice to the quiver of rustling leaves, to the "oooming" melody of the cows, the "drumming" oscillation of the fishes, the sizzling of the stones' fissures, the sussurus of the wind across the meadow, each living thing on this Earth has a sound-language of its own, articulate and audible within their tribe.

There is massive lunar power we can draw from the maternal dark and the eternal light.  Through my own mysterious journey in life, I came to recognize that we women have an indelible relationship with Mother Moon and, in particular, her shelter of the Dark. Once we understand that the cocooned moon, her darkness, is there to hold us in a quiet, pristine, and kind space we may access the revitalization of our Potent Shakti force. We begin to breathe from the belly and experience ease with our dark side of the moon. The Dark Moon preserves our blood since this blood carries the cosmic potential for bringing new life and rebirth. Through my lunar revelations, I named the life force that circulates through our womb, shakti-prana. I cognized this phenomenon to be attributed to the workings of the Red Bindu, located within the root chakra. When shakti-prana is in a state of balance the Bindu acts as a magnetic lodestone, drawing the energy of the moon to revitalize the womb. ~ Maya Tiwari

Maya Tiwari presents an Ayurvedic Perspective:

The Immunity of Mother Earth is threatened, and therefore all of life is at risk. The degree of fragility we are experiencing mirrors that of the Earth.  To restore sentiency and calmness to Self, we must first off strengthen the immunity of Mother Earth. This can only be achieved if we live in harmony with our Conscience. Our humanity depends solely on the well-being of Mother Earth, Mother Nature. Mother Earth is fragile~ we are fragile. We must be conscious of not aligning with the pervasive, random web of fears that presently surround our Earth! We must strengthen our resolve; Simplify our everyday lives, Lessen the use of Mother Nature's Resources; Give back to the Earth; Comfort those who are in dire need of support.  Pray for Mother Earth. Be good to Mother Earth. Be good to ourselves. Re-align with Mother Moon. Practice Simple Sadhanas. Vocalize Mantras. Weep with Mother Earth. Hug her trees. Sit with your feet in her streams. Pray for the Waters. OM

Forgiveness is among the most difficult acts in humanity. Forgive, or the action "for-giving" is something precious we give to ourselves.  Why does it take so long to forgive deeply damaging acts against us?  For the simple fact that the reason behind the “deeply damaging” invokes our own vast past of regressions, and dysfunctional ancestral memories that tend to huddle with the angst of the present. What a clump of gooey, guck, misery it can all become, coalesced as it were by the glue of despair.
Most people think that because we live spiritual lives we seldom make mistakes. This is not so. I don't know that we could live for even a day without making mistakes.  We can ask forgiveness of those whom we have hurt. But in the last instance we must sum up the courage to forgive ourselves. Because we are accountable for our journey along the path only through forgiving ourselves - regardless of who is doing what to whom- can we realize the reality of love and infinite harmony. This power does not change the past, or those whom transgress against us, but it releases toxicity from the heart and paves the way for awareness to light the way.

It is high time women reclaim their most sacred and potent power held within  the womb. By restoring our connection to the lunar cycle which has a powerful impact on our reproductive health, we benefit from the moon's magical medicines.
The Vedic culture, like all native cultures,  honors the shakti-prana. This is the subtle breath/life force that circulates a woman’s womb. It recognizes that a woman’s blood preserves her divine feminine nature and that this blood carries the Divine Mother’s potential for bringing new life and rebirth. This phenomenon may be attributed to the workings of the red bindu, the subtle magnetic center-point,  located within the root chakra.  The ancient sciences inform
when shakti-prana is strong the bindu acts as magnetic lodestone, drawing the energy of the moon to revitalize the womb. For this reason, the blood vessels within a woman’s vulva carry the magnetic energies of the moon. .....

Happiness is not what we think it is. Forsooth, it is not to be found in the state of the mind. It is not a goal to be pursued. Like desires, it arises from the depth of our samskaras, past impressions stored within the cognition over many rebirths. We can no more control desires than we can control happiness. It is ever-flowing, generated by the unconditional desire to be happy.  Happiness  blossoms when we understand our nature is happiness.
Then only can we delve into the sanctuary where happiness resides, the one and only space~ that is within.

Consider the idea that life itself emanates from sound, for what is sound but audible breath, the rhythm and melody of the One spirit that dwells within all things? Sound vibration is a manifestation of life energy, and that life energy, or prana, is the basis for self-healing.

Listen In~

The local folks call this wide and deep river, the Ganges of the South, the Holy Mother River! Just a few days ago, I has taken the sacred dip in the Mother Ganges, sat in the lap of her rapid undulating waters made stable by the vast Himalayas whose feet stretch around several thousand kilometers huddling within her care vast forests, mountains, villages, temples, ashrams, the poor and homeless, the rich riders of Spirit. Each day, millions of devotees take bath in her ever flowing beneficence, washing away the past, melding tears into the holy waters, converting challenges into nurturance whilst safeguarding the collective promise of serenity. In India, a dip in the Holy Mother Water reaffirms our faith- the understanding that all is always as it must be.
Tatastu!, as we would say in Sanskrit.

At this powerful time of human isolation, let us remember one of our most potent inner medicines which we may simply call upon to heal and be stronger, the power of breath.

Prana is the kinetic force of the universe. It causes the earth's movement around the sun. This earth - a mass heap of dirt becomes a mobile dynamic entity - vibrating with complex life, because of prana. She is made alive, and in turn, generates the life source for every human and organism which dwell on her. Prana moves the air, water, nerves, and memory cells, and controls expansion and contraction of the earth's surface. The ebb and flow of the oceans and the moon's orbit around the earth is propelled by prana.

We have arrived at the death of a year, and with it the loss of dreams, longing for happier times , the regret of missed chances and possibly, the cremation of hope. I sit and watch the furling ashes over a pasture of woad set in motion by nature’s palpable silence. Her wavering silence resound through the heart in winter’s distant promise of blossoming flowers, now the properly cold gleaming through the leaves and branches, the sanguine clouds in fumey air, vast space, igneous rock, and blackened soil, emulating the serenity of precipitous tears on the morning grass I long for silence.

For silence heals. silence revives spirit. silence reminds me of my immortal Self. Be Still. Listen to the hushing sounds before the silence, observe: In observing we become still. Transformation is the fire of observation. Stillness is the gift of awareness. Sit within yourself for twenty minutes. Allow yourself to be vacant, to receive the light of the infinite. Allow the pain to pass. Allow the simple grace of your being. Allow. If there is anger, give to room to resound. Give it a field in which to play itself out. Observing silence is the natural grace of presence. Let go. surrender to the Silence.

In Vedic Astrology the winter solstice is the first day of Uttarayana (sun’s northward journey), the 6 months from January to July when the light is returning as the earth orbits the sun.. It is said that these six months are a single day to the gods. The world becomes once more illumined and returns to the celestial path in the auspicious time of Uttarayana.
A time to embrace the challenges and imperfections of our present time, and lay them to rest as the earth reseeds its intention for wholeness, and grace into new birth.  It is a powerful time to plant seeds of hope in the face of life’s challenges. On the winter solstice, the sun reaches the dark zenith of the underworld. From this  regenerative space, new light, life, hope and grace are reborn. The sun at the farthest south in its northward voyage awakens into its effulgence. The whole universe sends us its regenerative vibrational medicines during the WinterSolstice so that we may repair the broken.

Our word is sacred. It is the most intelligent form of the cosmic sound within manifestation, it is an intricate part of the entire cosmic web of vibrations. Our voice and speech emulate Nature's primordial sound, and therefore we must remain conscious of how we use our words, speech, our thoughts. The Ahimsa of Speech is about ceaseless investment of awareness in our inner thoughts so that we can harvest a deep understanding of our own ancestral and karmic patterns in order that we may dissolve all residue of hurting, hurtful, or unkind behavior which generally peeps through our responses to others
Old habituations exist in the thought and speech patterns of even great spiritual masters. Because of the karmic past, vasanas, memories we carry from previous lives accompany us in every birth. Mastering impeccable speech, and kindness within it demands a dedication and commitment to this humane art form.  Did you know that our use of speech, and word enhances, rejuvenates prana, our life force. When we use them wisely and kindly, we are encouraging prana.... The Word, Listen In~

An excerpt from Maya's Featured Talk at the Yoga & Ayurveda Conference, Rishikesh, India 2008. Digging deep into her ancient tradition of the Vedas, Maya informs that food is not only responsible for good health, and happiness for the human person, and for all creatures but it is sustenance that keeps harmony in community and a thriving Earth.

Maya tells us that food is not merely nourishment and sustenance to keep us alive; it is the heart of matter, the mind of memory, the imprint of the ancestors, the seed of the newborn, the spirit of a family, the land, river, sky, mountain, and universe. In this book, you will learn the necessity of reclaiming the Mother Consciousness within you, and by extension, broadcasting good health, joy, and abundance to your family and community.

This episode is excerpted from a Talk that Maya Tiwari presented at the Bodhi Bookstore, Los Angeles in 1995 at the release of one of her first books, Ayurveda: A Life of Balance.  All of life and our universe emerged before 120 billion years ago, and this intelligence is carried within each and every human being.  The great Vedic seers who observed and understood the cosmic network of vibration and energy in the universe, espouses that we are formed from the same sentiency and consciousness of our  universe.  Through our Dhatu- System in Ayurveda, our seven layers of vital tissues hold the memory and vibration of cosmic intelligence and through the process of transforming nutrients each vital tissue informs the subsequent tissue. In practicing Sadhana, wholesome activity that are in consonance with Mother Nature and our environment, we are continually replenishing the "inner medicine" resource we have within.  We  can heal ourselves . We have the power of Sadhana  to generate love, wellness and happiness within ourselves.  Listen In~

Words, speech, language~indeed, all sounds of the universe, from the human voice to the rustling of leaves , the "oooming" of the cows, the "drumming" oscillation of the fishes, the sizzle of the stones' fissures, the sussurus of the wind across the meadow, each and every species and living thing on this Earth has a language of their own, articulate and audible within their tribe. All sounds are birthed from the cosmic sound vibration of the universe, the most conscious being the human voice. Albeit, it is said in the Vedas that we use only the fourth quarter of the whole Quadrant of intelligence contained in the cosmic field of sound.
How do we access the entirety of the quadrant of cosmic intelligence?

Living in an environment amid some of the most primitive neural network at work, Maya's heart-awakening revelation of the purity of love midwifed from her lived expereinces of untoward darkness which  she calls the perfect ground for birthing Ahimsa - the state of pure love. She reminds us of the everglowing light that is with us even through our darkness moments of despair. She teaches us to recognize the love inherent in our own organs of action.
For instance, a  hand filled with the love of ahimsa is a hand that heals others.  Our hands are feet are perfect conduits of the universe’s life force, or prana. The hands and feet are t he two farthest extremities of the physical body.  Our hands touch the wind, space and fire; our feet tread water and earth.  They are in continuous communion with nature’s five elements.  Our feet carry us from place to place.  Our hands embrace, offer and receive.  Every fiber of memory strives towards motion just like a child who first begins to walk and touch the objects of the world.  We are sustained only by the peaceful memory of the universe.

For more than two centuries the 15 powerful lunar medicines for women issued by Mother Moon during her auspicious waxing  cycle have been lost to humanity. Maya elucidates the knowledge of moon medicines and how we may manifest them in our daily feminine lives.  She encourages women to open mind/heart/womb to the Supreme Goddess whom the Vedic Tradition calls Lalita- Maha Tripurasundari- She whose beauty and beneficence transcend the Three Worlds.  During her waxing phase, Lalita projects 15 Nityas - Shakti Devis- through whom her lunar daily medicine energy manifests and is brought forth for the benefit of each and every feminine form.  The Nityas are simply emanation of the Supreme Goddess whom she unfolds from Her vast depths to light the way for each and every woman.  Woman are the carriers of the moon medicines on Earth. Through their revitalized Shakti these medicines are released for the benefit of all of humanity.

These cosmic medicines have been lost to humanity for many centuries. It is time we reclaim our inherent lunar power to heal simply by being in the presence of the Supreme Goddess in her lunar medicine form.  By emulating Lalita Maha Tripura Sundari, we are mirroring the ebb and flow of her waxing moon as she moves from one notch to another along her eternal journey.  In so doing, we invite her immutable medicines of mantra, yantra, tantra to restore absolute luminosity and wellbeing to ourselves and for the Earth.

Money has not solve the poverty crisis. Importation of food does not solve the hunger crisis Food Revolutions of modern Agriculture have not solved food shortage. Food movements, like the Green Revolution & the New Green Revolution are a political strategies to exert and and maintain control over the global food systems which are monopolized by corporations and institutions in the Western countries. If we were to contribute even 20% of the trillions of dollars we spend on making wars to forge a pseudo-peace, toward educating developmental countries with the tools and knowledge for self-sustaining natural farming, we can begin to eradicate global hunger and nourish the impoverished.

While the food revolution of Organic farming methods are, without question, better for the environment, the soil, the people (often poor who toil sat the harvest), nature, the ecosystem, our forests, animals and our health. But the business of “organic foods” raise as many political, economical and spiritual questions as did the unsuccessful food revolutions that came before. The present economic business model for farming and harvesting organic produce is designed to be completely inaccessible to poor populations.

As organic food carves out a greater share of the market and international markets expand, the carbon footprint of organic food distribution may exceed that of conventional food. The prices of producing organic foods is far more expensive than conventional farming when grown for the mass consumption. The present economic business model for farming and harvesting organic produce is designed to be completely inaccessible to poor populations. What doe sit take to create a wholesome community? Can it be found in the search for sameness? as in shared economical desires/needs, intentions, goals, like-minded and like-spiritedness. Or is it within diversity?  Maya speaks ….
We start to build from wherever we find ourselves, from the lowest point of human despair and work our way up… a true community cannot be comprised of only the like-minded, and privileged where the poor and trodden are used to benefit the already excessively fattened in this ambience of chemicalised serenity.

The lot of a community is in the muddled rainbow mix of poor, rich, creative, destructive, lawless and lawful. From this space alone, we can come together to build a true and wholesome community. We begin not by expelling the poor and despairing to the ghettos of “lost causes” but by influencing the “privileged” class to become more selfless and productive for the greater good of all. We help the poor to sustain themselves economically and grant them the same self-sustaining education that we deserve, not by doling out money and favors, but by inviting them into the hearth with access to organic farming, nutrition. Education.

WE ARE DELVING DEEPER INTO THE RABBIT HOLE

Maya speaks to the primary reason why modern therapies, health practices,  and other healing protocols, however well meaning they may be, remain  ineffective in the cure of physical, mental and psychic diseases.  Our modern medical system find itself in the midst of considerable intellectual turmoil and facing some striking contradictions with less answers to healing, and restoring health. Instead, the number of physiological, and psychic diseases is progressively worsening. The reason for this burgeoning dilemma is that we have lost the life-generating communal living imperative to humanity’s well being.  Modern medicine and therapeutics depend solely on the person's performance and processing through the agility of their mind.  But we do not have the education to use our minds effectively, nor can the mind process therapeutics the way we think it should.  As a result, our minds are inundated, agitated, exhausted by the onrushing current of “to do’s”  and human activities which presage such a despairing indication for humanity’s awareness evolution.  Maya speaks to the solution. To heal disease, despair, disillusionment, and ward off a deluge of impairments endemic to modern living, Maya invokes Vedic wisdom and speaks to the imperative of building the true Eco Community: Here is how she puts it ....not a space just for the like-spirited who share sameness with commonality and norms of religion, values, customs, or identity; Not only for communities that share a sense of safety in a given locale or in virtual space through communication platforms; Not only a biological community, or a so-called conscious community but the community that the Ancients called "a spiritual "community: indeed, the true value of an eco-community. What is the purpose of an eco-community?

Citing the Panchayat practice of ancient Vedic tradition ~ wherein each village was responsible through its Panchayat, or committee of five elders, for maintaining the home ground in the forests within its own locality. A space where the despairing, the disgruntled, the pure spirited, the disparaged, the disabled, the affluent, the poor, the ambitious, the creative, all co-exist in perfect balance. No village was complete without its corresponding mature woodlands, animal husbandry, humans never encroaching on more space than necessary, naturally tending to groves for providing fruits, flowers, timber products, and shelter for grazing cows. In India such sacred groves -completely free from noxious chemicals, etc., can still be witnessed around a few Hindu temples and forests that are reminiscent of an ancient culture. The Panchayat preserved ample space for human, animals, wildlife, and nature's refuge, warding off building and commercial crimes against Mother Earth. The key for success of Eco-communities can be found at its core. the guidance of its Wisdom Elders.

Men express the Mother woundings differently from women. And among men, each individual expresses or hides his pain in similar and dissimilar ways. First thought, before we can explore the practice to heal the Mother Wound in our men, let us explore the anatomy of the Mother Wound in all of humanity~ men, women and children. Mother wound is experienced by all through one common filter: betrayal….this small word has the capacity to hold a million untoward fangs, such as deceit, trumpery, skullduggery, dishonestly, vandalism, violence, psyche toxicity, poisoning and other injustices. All of our ancestries are bedaubed by these squashy clags.

One of the most relevant reasons, people do not heal is not necessarily for their lack of willingness but rather the lack of qualified mentors who are truly needed to walk another soul through their dank terrain. Our parents can’t do it. Our partners and spouses can’t do it, our children can’t do it. Grandparents try to do it. Our therapists can’t do it [they are simply not trained to do so]. Our spiritual leaders and gurus can’t do it. Most are imprisoned inside of their own Mother Wound since opportunities to voice or air such conditions exponentially decreases as notoriety increases. And since everyone carries the Mother Wound, this becomes our most challenging path to create so that we can all penetrate the healing of the Mother Wound. ......Listen In!

From the beginning of time, women have paid the price for humanity’s thriving with their blood, tears and guts. As women, we must recognize the supreme challenge of wounds that we naturally bear (because the awareness and healing of these wounds is part of the rite of passage to the Divine Feminine). The Mother Wound exists not only in women but in men, as well. Albeit, the genders materialize this vitiation in very different life ways and expressions ~ for example, a mother wounded man would have a challenging and often distorted relationship with his mother, and wife, and with women in general, he expereinces a feeling of aberration with love and sex and intimacy, and with the spiritual realm.

The Mother Wound in men originated from the very process in conception where the Shakti force is in inimitable control. The Shakti s the force pushing the procreation of life. In the process of conception, the mother who has not addressed her own wounds would unconsciously bequeath them to her progeny. Typically, a Mother Wound delivers a progressive set of traumas to the child’s psyche that is received over their growing years. Often, the mother is unconsciously living and working from her own inheritance of wounds. This primordial maternal force materializes in the way mitochondria DNA performs in the conception process. In humans, mitochondrial DNA is inherited from the mother because an egg cell has many more mitochondria than a sperm cell. This maternal DNA hones the structure and movement of the sperm which is programmed to swim undistracted to the egg. Along with the manifold gifts of life ferried in the union of sperm and ovum is that of generational maternal wounds.

Would it surprise you if I were to tell you that each and every human person on earth is suffering from some form of trauma from the past ~ a past that is deeply buried in our ancestral bedrock? We are living in the "Century of Trauma", now more disconnected from Mother Earth and her salubrious ways than ever before. For this reason we are compelled to unearth deeply hidden traumas that are being revealed at this time of our history on earth. Has the human species always carried trauma? In life two major traumas we experience are in the process of birth and death. But there are undercurrents of trauma that we carry from generation to generation through our bloodlines. This is why the ailment of trauma treated by present day therapy render very little effectiveness. In brief, our knowledge of where trauma is actually seeded and what lies beyond trauma is so limited, based as it were on dualistic modern sciences that do not consider its primal role of ancestral acquisitions. To heal trauma we must heal ancestral wounds. Traumas are deeply connected to ancestral wounds. Traumas from thousand of years of human-kind are imbued with the cells and memory of our vital tissues, wired into the function of our brains and expressed through a variety of configurations in our individual birth. Indeed, these ancestral imprints are also deeply embedded into the earth, and, the forest and their stories told through hydromancy of the waters.

The first cosmic law of ahimsa, practicing non-harm, informs that to fulfill our humanity as a whole person, we must strengthen our capacity to gain awareness. Maya's 15-minute long meditation, when practiced, can be immediately helpful in cultivating inner spacial awareness. She informs, that the simple act of pause allows the mind, emotions, and uncertainties to settle. We can be at ease even amid chaos. In this meditative practice we do not  search for or expect immediate answers to a dilemma. This practice simply helps us to create spaciousness within. After practicing for a while, you find that the right questions will arise and that your mental state is poised with more clarity.  The turbulence of thoughts, emotions, guilt, fear, and so on becomes stilled.

Years after my self-healing process, and having since helped so many others to heal themselves, I believe the most important steps for self-healing are: To stop in our tracks, be still, take pause, and heal.  We must take back the spaciousness within us, the wellspring from which we can access awareness.Awareness is the immutable part of the human anatomy that gives us the power to heal ourselves.  This is the moment to moment state of living in harmony with our environment. When we cannot heal despair or disease, it is because we have made taut, tense and crowded the space within that safeguards our ease and simplicity.

When we nourish awareness, we become more compassionate, intuitive, and creative. Even when we are surrounded by untoward behaviors, violent actions, or any negative events, if we were to fasten ourselves to these realties and ride every despairing nuance in its declivity, then we are wasting our awareness by usurping spaciousness within. Ultimately, it is the lack of internal spaciousness that harms us the most. While it is challenging to remain positive, when you are held captive by harmful, dissonant elements - as life can become- go back to the stillness within and reclaim your spaciousness. We must honor this divine process as it is the most effective way for self-healing.

Each one of us is imbued with cosmic memory formed from the very beginning of time. Every cell, atom in our body is sustained, nourished and calibrated by the vibration of these memories. We are endowed with a set of imprints that support our physical, emotional and spiritual anatomy- which is being automatically upgraded and refined by this comic memory. We experience the creation through both individually and collectively through cosmic memory. In this way, every species is a form of remembering. The mountain goat, for example, has the memory of billions of eons stamped in the structure of its feet. A structure which defies gravitation as the goat climbs to tremendous heights. The sages observed the goats and understood them to be the living symbol of freedom. Aja is the Sanskrit character given to the goat. Translated, it means "the one which has transcended birth."

The human memory field is stupendous. Cosmic memory is transformed and sustained by the force of the five elements -Akasha, Space - being the most subtle of the elements and the infinite container in which we are continually replenishes intelligence. Before we can stand on two feet, we float in an environment of amniotic fluid like little tadpoles. We emerge, kick, crawl, stand, and finally forget the inherent memory of origin. Because we are formed from cosmic memory, we are can conspire with the cosmos. This understanding of memory sanctity provides an understanding of our comic nature - the indelible bond we have with the cosmos. We have an open invitation to appeal and conspire with the Akasha in order to overcome challenges and illumine awareness.

Milk is the elixir of foods for humans says Vedas. In disavowing milk as food for humanity, are we actually protecting the cows? In refusing to eat soya, wheat, corn an other highly tampered food grains are we protection Mother Earth? Listen in to a powerful talk by Maya Tiwari. Maya has been shifting humanity's perceptions for more than three decades with her pioneering work in ancient Vedic wisdom. The summation of this remarkable episode is, simply: Milk as wholesome food must be preserved!

We have been destroying our domesticated animals, our forest, waters and air, and all of Mother Nature. We became alienated from our roots—the wellspring of our ancestral, seasonal, geographical, and archeological ground, and a primary source for nourishing the body, mind, and spirit of each individual culture. In turn, this fractured ancestral bedrock has affected our relationship to the land, seasons, rains, vegetation, crops, nature’s rhythms, our animals and therefore, our connection to the state of wholesome, simplified living. Noxious farming and agriculture, polluted industry and commerce, scientific mishaps, along with the barrage of electronic inventions and their effects upon our food, water, air, and etheric (vibrational field) source have adversely impacted our nourishment, resulting in a host of new degenerative, neurological, and environmental diseases: a vicious cycle especially when we respond by creating movements that supposedly serve the already over-served, and the excessive of elitism.

Honoring Ancestors is an ancient body of work that Maya unearthed from the Vedic Tradition for the benefit of all of humanity. She has simplified this work for all genders and cultures to be able to use. Usually, in ancient cultures it is the men who take care of the ritual of death; and women the rites of birth. The time is here when we must all take care of each other and heal the rift with our spirit world; with our ancestors!

In this year of 2020, the auspicious period to venerate ancestors occurs September 1-17. This time is called, Pitri Paksha. It starts at the Full Moon, “Corn Moon".
Generally, this time occurs toward the end of September or beginning of October right before the Autumnal Equinox: 16 auspicious days to venerate, nourish and heal your connection to your ancestors. At this powerful lunar time the cosmos aligns with you to raise your ancestral vibration.

Our greatest ancestor is Mother Earth; Ancestors are our oldest elders, and accessing their wisdom support is imperative if we are to regain consciousness. At this pivotal time when earth consciousness evolution is on an upsurge, our priority must be to foster awareness that restores ancestral memory. To progress in our own human journey, we must do the necessary rites of offering to nourish, nurture and heal our connection to ancestors. At this time of great vulnerability, I invite you to connect to the powerful energy of ancestors.

Maya informs that collectively, we are in the space of liminal time. Understanding the meaning of “liminal time” strengthens a sense of awareness amid upsurges, chaos and disorientation. The liminal space also exists as a natural transition in each and every human life - a necessity for individual growth, forward movement. You may see it as a cosmic rite of passage. Each person must go through a specific number of liminal passages in their lifetime. This rite of passage is imprinted within the human psyche from birth. It is not a test for endurance, nor is it meant to punish or imperil us. Rather, it is a growth sprout that requires the soil and fodder of austerity to flourish. In anthropology, liminality is the quality of disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage, when participants no longer hold their pre-ritual status but have not yet accomplished the status they will hold when the rite is complete.

Unfortunately, modernity has depleted the prowess we'd otherwise have naturally honed to endure and cross over these liminal junctures into new form. Whilst this passage may seem like an endurance test, it is not meant to imperil or victimize us. These are the natural times when we can let go of inured baggages that no longer serve the light path of our awareness. My own experience elucidates this thought: After my last liminal transition that lasted more than a decade, I almost wished I could have dissolved into a thin breeze, sprout wings and disappear into the ethers. I spent more time grabbling with my old identity while feeling “disoriented” and “stuck” in the present. But, in truth, this passage is sacred. And I am ever so blessed to have passed through.

What a clump of gooey, guckey misery it can all become, coalesced as it were by the glue of despair.
Most people think that because we live spiritual lives we seldom make mistakes. This is not so. I don't know that we could live for even a day without making mistakes. We are all guilty of getting caught up in our own passion and process so much so that we sometimes fail to see the consequences of our actions when we initiate or engage them. We lose precious awareness in this way. And loss hurts.

Love, just love!  An intimate sharing from Maya ~
LOVE, JUST LOVE! THE ORACLE OF LOVE  written into birth in 2011 from the passion of a heart that had finally culminated into its fullness of love. Maya thought she’d immediately capture everlasting bliss. Her work, the Oracle of Love, began from a compelling story that opened her heart, the once in a lifetime unfoldment. She dropped her calling as Vedic Monk, and began to search for a simpler path of the Feminine Divine. Little did she know that she would be tossed into the cavernous depths of a negotiated hell. How delicate, how fragile, how scared the space of love.

Maya writes: "I wrote most of these words nine years ago, today as I read them I understood that while we write from the wisdom of our awareness, it takes time for knowledge to mature into a living wisdom,  for the fruit of knowledge to grow and flourish. I know now what I wrote then. It took the dank dark fodder on my life ground spent in the abyss to complete the circle of love. The circular phase of deep longing, hurting, knowing, forgiving before love were to culminate into the understanding; Love, only Love!

Each one of us has the power to shift into awareness. At the substratum of consciousness is our ability to be aware, the infallible gift of awareness. Once we loosen from the mind, and retreat into our awareness, we can do the arduous work to keep creating harmony. Awareness is the still point, harmonic resonance, the incorruptible silence, that unchanging reality behind consciousness. When learning to use the mind effectively, we discover the way to continually retreat into the sanctuary of awareness. The mind is a necessary functionary of the material universe. It is a radar, our surveyor, the signal that picks up disharmony, and distress. It alerts us to that which runs counter to the cosmic order, while the state of awareness is our true nature. Once invoked, we pursue a clear intent to honor our journey, however it unfolds.

Through living in Ahimsa, we sustain Awareness. In Awareness, we also sustain Ahimsa. In living ahimsa, we learn that peace does not depend on conducive conditions. Peace is about learning to transcend disharmony, disorder, disease, and despair by reaching for that inner flame, the irrevocable light that redefines all living conditions. When we recognize that peace can exist amid the carnal grounds of despair, destruction, chaos, confusion, we are living in Ahimsa - the state of inner harmony and equanimity. Through awareness, we heal. Nourish Peace.

Mired in centuries of falsified history, we are fastened to false patterns of behavior that are the direct result of recreation of life itself:  When we trade in personal awareness we become commodities. This malady that has become the accepted norm of society began with Colonization, in the era of “Christianity” when European powers sought to exercise its egoistic avarice and sense of superiority, they violently usurped the material wealth and soul of the earth. First off, as they set forth to eradicate native populations throughout the world, they sought to destroy  Mother Earth herself. Savagery, murder, and eradication of native life ways also took with it the secrets of Mother Earth's wellness and sustenance.

We have successfully converted life from an alive, breathing, pranic, organic phenomenon to a mundane commodity that is being systematically commoditized and controlled. Simply put, dulling communal consciousness, the killing of individual awareness. The multi-fanged impact of colonization upon civilization can be visualized thusly: We are squarely seated in a spiraling vortex of a dark abyss held by a cacophony of discordant sounds where the soul of consciousness is stripped to the bare.

This shift cannot be accomplished by the privileged 1O% of the world population . This is the 1O% who are over-served and over-charged by the elite 2% of New Age agnostics, philosophers, healers, masters, and gurus who continue to shine in the media spotlight and whose ensemble control 98% of our world's wealth. We must make a breakthrough, and the only way to do so is to gather the veracity and tenacity of the 9O%.

Centuries-long abuse of women's rites of passage, along with the misappropriation of their earthly, maternal rights have imprinted deep scars on the destiny of women-kind. But because we are formed from Mother Earth herself, and carry the illimitable powers of the Shakti Goddess within us, we can reclaim our divine destiny as women. First though, we must discard the false self which has been perfected -generation after generation- over eons. Through bringing awareness to our divine feminine self. We can uncover ancestrally crafted ways of defensiveness, survivalism and the manipulative measures that come with them. It is safe to let go of these crafted veils, masks and personas. We breathe into letting go, we breathe into awareness and let go some more.
By fostering a circle of women who are courageous enough to step into their awareness and reclaim their divine destiny as co-creators with Mother Nature, we pave the way for 3.8 billion women. As we face and heal the False Self, we reclaim our feminine power to love, nourish and heal.

Every angry, wrathful, violent thought and/or negative response we have ever issued can be traced to the cellular memories we carry within our genetic composition which had been sculpted by familial bloodlines.  Ancestral memories mold our relationship to the world and can control our responses and behavior unless we bring awareness to them. The ancestors can be both the source of the hardship and the remedy.  Each time we allow a challenge to push our buttons, we push deeper into the murk of ancestral chasm.

With ancestral awareness, we can choose a dharmic response or make a humane choice when faced with challenges. In this way, we transcend the ancestral ground of negative experiences. We win, we grow, we morph into our humanity and elevate both ourselves and the ancestral spirits.  We need their cosmic protection!

Let’s enjoin heart across Mother Earth to awaken ancestral awareness. Here are three very simple practices you can do to cull and strengthen ancestral awareness.

REMEMBRANCE: Set up a small altar in your home

NOURISHMENT: Offer a small portion of vegetarian food yo ancestors

AWARENESS: Bring awareness to negative responses rooted in ancestral anger, rage, angst, guilt.

At this pivotal time in human consciousness evolution, the most important understanding we can offer to our humanity is neither physical/emotional, nor financial. It is the selfless practice of bringing awareness to negative responses that are being pushed by ancestral memory. Our ancestral memories - both negative and positive- are woven into every cell and memory of our being, when we respond from these memory imprints that push us, that are being dug up from the deep, we are being given an opportunity to bring awareness by staying present with impoverished, memories which may be surfacing.  In so doing, we evict inured memories that do not serve our well-being or growth. We heal the long ignored rift with the spirit world, and unburden our ancestors.  I invite you to connect to the powerful guidance of ancestors.

Maya guides the Awareness Meditation. In this sublime “experience” we gather ourselves within the ever generating, eternal awareness. "Chit" Awareness is the primordial power each one of us possesses.  No mantra, no counting, no focal point, no posture. Simply Be. We sit. We take pause. We breathe. We allow: Being and allowing Awareness to reign supreme.

Maya tells the intimate story of her past ancestral legacy and her plunge into Chit Awareness, the Master Key for healing and living in the present where forgiveness and compassion thrive. She relates how unfastening from the burdens of the past brings us into the glory of the ever present reality. A remarkable journey of survivalism from the agony of colonization in Guyana, through the US occupation of her country after its independence from Britain, the racial wars that ensued, her arrival as a foreign student at age 16 into New York City, her early fame as a fashion designer,  her survival of ovarian cancer at age 23, her return to her traditional Vedas, followed by thirty five years of teaching Ayurveda, helping the ill and forgotten to unite with Mother Nature and heal. And then the miraculous "Chit Happens"!...Listen on....

Background Music: Raga Yaman - Mandala of Healing

This serene Raga is traditionally performed during the first quarter of the night.

Forgiveness? How do we forgive the unforgivable?

"Each day, I try to reinforce my resolve to the full surrender. Each day I fail."
Does this sound familiar? Why is forgiveness so difficult to accomplish? Maya elucidates that the reality  of prolonged suffering is an appendage of memory, ancestral memory, and relationship to the Past. And that only by elevating ourselves beyond the abyss of "past memory and genetic chaos" by shifting our awareness back to the present can we untether ourselves from the unforgiving acts of violence, disease, disillusionment and despair. Our innate human capacity to awareness is always lit with sentiency, and reclaiming it immediately brings us into our center of balance and harmony.
Here is a very intimate sharing of Forgiveness from Maya's own trove of experiences. She shows us the way in which we can forgive the ignoble, the inhumane by garnering awareness to shift the dehumanizing experience of violence, vileness, and toxicity that create a separation from the our own embodied illumined Self.

To understand our true historical genealogy is to know that we are part of a mixed gene-pool, each and every one of us. I am a part of you. You are a part of me. This understanding is tantamount to blessing each other- so that together, we rescind the long and treacherous history of angst, antagonism, competition, and hatred spurred on by erroneous beliefs. To bring an end to the “colonized project”  of race and racism; their policy of to divide is to conquer. We must close out and invalidate a false history steeped in the skullduggery of colonizers and their erroneous representation of history that had been fostered on percolating on the living soul, dignity and blood of innocent people throughout the millennia. END RACISM NOW!

The time has come to rid the stigma of a false belief system that keeps us mired in a "race" conflict. This episode elucidated the knowledge that we are all formed from an ancient genetic weave that interlaces our blood lines.

What if I were to tell you that you are a composition of several genomic factors, and that there is no such thing as as the ethnicity such as being a person who is pure white, black, brown, yellow or red race?

What if we were to discover that Africa is not only the cradle of humanity but ancient African genes are imprinted upon at least 2/3 of the world’s population?

Did you know that our world has endured countless invasions amongst empires and nations and that we have never had a time in this world when wars, invasions or violence were non-existent?

Can you truly think of your genealogy as pure ethnicity from India, Africa, Asia, South America, Europe, United Kingdom, North America etc…?

Our cultural genealogy is not exempt form the various interactions of states' invasions and occupations, trading among nations, vacation tourism, sexual tourism, inter cultural marriages.

We must rid the taboo of racial divide, racial hatred, bigotry associated with humanity's inter-cultural relationship. I ask you to reclaim, or at least, stay open to the burgeoning new evidence from genomic science that is inadvertently proving that we all have indelible blood ties to each other.

Pristine Vedic practices for women of all traditions to imbibe to heal the Mother Wound. As women we have a birthright, a largess of gifts -the Shakti power,  within us. To reclaim these gifts, we must heal the legacy of wounds within ourselves and repair the rift we have created with the feminine and maternal other. The Mother Wound is intimately connected to womb of the Goddess. Every pain, grief and angst we endure as women come from the trove of the Mother Wound. Often, we blame our physical mothers for these expereinces.  But, in truth, each and every woman has inherited this wound from our infinite maternal lineage. Due to the deterioration of the Shakti memory we have been rife with conflicts amongst ourselves as women.

As women we carry the largess of the Mother Wound. We have created chasms in the sacred relationship between mother and daughter - a wound handed down from generation to generation that accounts for the deep fragility of our collective feminine wholeness. We bear a conflict with our own mothers, Mother Nature and each other. But once we recognize the Mother Wound, we can heal and heal it quickly. By fostering a circle of women, and embracing each other -without competition and envy- we forge friendship based on our endurance as women. This is what healing ourselves and the earth and the world is about.  As we face and heal the Mother Wound, we reclaim our feminine power to love, nourish and heal.

Maya introduces the Making of Ghee as a meditation - one  of the significant practices through which her own miraculous healing occurred. In her mellifluous voice, conditioned by the ancestral use of ghee - she tells us that ancient traditions revered the cow and its milk. Ayurveda calls “ghee” (clarified butter) the golden elixir of life, the most peace-generating food on earth.  When prepared an imbibed  with mindfulness, ghee elevates consciousness, strengthens ojas, the body’s primordial immunological force, reducing fatigue and stress while aiding the body to let go of its toxicities. In this precarious time when the agents of complex viruses are roaming the earth unhinged, Maya calls us back to the hearth to learn and honor the mysteries of Mother Nature’s healing foods.

In the past 50 years we witnessed the birth of the Food Science, the industrialization of food - which included the Green Revolution, and with an artillery of chemicals, gases, pesticides, GMO’s and  cellular agriculture amongst other agri-scientific approaches. Yet food security is at its lowest ebb. The 21st century can be seen as the time of phantom food shortages where more than 130 million people died from food shortages, malnutrition, and famine: A time when a number of new infectious diseases has emerged while the Earth is razed with violence. The travails of Mother Earth continues unabated as we poison her food source, gut, demoralize, fracture, and demoralize her.

Maya Tiwari cautions listeners to tune-out of this particular podcast if experiencing depression, heartache, trauma, or feeling vulnerable. She traces the causes for transmutation of the human genome to the noxious and indiscriminate use of bio-chemical, bio-engineering, bio-herbicides military warfare of the last century. She collates the usage of these gases/chemicals to the timing of the diseases  (eg. Corona Virus, Spanish Flu, SARS, AIDS, Influenza) which are known for jumping the species barrier, spilling over to new host adaptations.

Directly ahead of us is a thin projectile of light that bridges the present to the near future that promises a benign and blissful existence. We need no baggage, no visa, no passport, no toll, only a heart that is surrendered to the light. This crossing will be led by ordinary people whose “I-ness and Me-ness” had been cremated in the arduous flow of living on Mother Earth. Those who carry the staff of love and vibrational energy will cross over. The Shakti of Mother Earth will once more reign supreme.

Peace is the absolute freedom from all forms of disorder, including the present pandemic of CORONA VIRUS and its ominous trajectories and given forces behind it. To nourish peace we must first heal the mind. Each one of us must become present toshift global consciousness into the mind of peace. Cultivating peace is about learning to transcend disharmony, disorder, disease, and despair by reaching for that inner flame, the irrevocable, incorruptible light that redefines all living conditions. Ultimately, peace is about becoming comfortable with the carnal ground of noxious, rotten bones.

AHIMSA is more than non-violence. it is taking a quantum turn toward that place we never thought we can get to- that space of forgiving, of allowing ourselves to be humbled by the sheer volume of impossibilities that surround us. It is about letting go of whom we think we are; the ancestral past of wounds and glories; the unsacred that glares at us each and every day, the evil goings-on within our community.

The path of ahimsa heals the mind of peace. More than 1 million people have taken the Vow of Ahimsa under Maya's guidance through the Peace Mandala World Tour..... Join Us:

Maya speaks to her unique work on the "Cosmic Memory" principle. She informs that the  the human genome is endowed with intrinsic cosmic memory embedded within every minute cell of the human body/mind.  Maya says that each species, from the time of its inception on the planet, is allocated with a specific block of memory from the vast blueprint of cosmic infrastructure. Her work informs that humans are endowed with a mind that is greater than our physiological mental faculty. Called the Buddhi, this human instrument of sentiency is impenetrable, infallible and cannot be compromised or touched in any way regardless of the degree of damage foisted upon the human anatomy by unsacred biological sciences or malevolent intent.

The Immunity of Mother Earth is threatened, and therefore all of life is at risk. It is about building the Immunity of our Conscience; our Humanity toward Mother Earth, Mother Nature. She is fragile, and thus we are fragile. Take precautions but do not align withe the fear and survival globules! We must strengthen our resolve; Simplify and Lessen the use of Mother Nature's Resources; Give back to the Earth; Comfort those who are fragile.  Pray for Mother Earth. Be good to Mother Earth. Be good to ourselves. Re-align with Mother Moon. Practice Simple Sadhanas. Vocalise Mantras. Weep with Mother Earth. Hug her trees. Sit with your feet in her streams. Pray for the Waters. OM
