Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. As ordinary Americans, we are victimized by horrible policies that we detest but elites love. Why do they impose these dangerous, liberty-destroying policies on us? One reason: they never have to live with the real-life consequences of their own ideas. They live in gated communities that are constantly patrolled and have walls around them. Here’s what historian and author Victor Davis Hanson says about the refusal of the elites in Washington D.C. to fund a border wall to protect us from crime and drugs: They have the means, the influence, the capital to make walls and live in nice neighborhoods.
They're never subject to the ramifications of their abstract ideology. And if they were, they wouldn't tolerate this for one second and that's why people are mad about it.
Methinks it’s time to elect some new and different Republicans.
