About Teri:
Teri attributes her inner STELLARGIRL to the relentless pursuit of an extraordinary and adventurous life. Like many women, Teri’s values were formed from life lessons — some hard-won, some immensely rewarding — but all contributing to her own STELLARGIRL journey.
Teri grew up with a spirited, global perspective thanks to parents who taught her that beyond their home in a small prairie city in Saskatchewan, Canada, a world of possibilities and wonder awaited. She went on to earn a BA majoring in languages. She has lived in nine cities across North America, re-inventing herself each time to align with her belief that doing what you love with people who uplift you personifies a stellar life.
Teri’s world travels have taken her to over three dozen countries throughout Asia, South East Asia, the Middle East, North America, South America, Africa and Europe and they all have taught her that women living in different cultures and countries have much more in common than not. In her career, that belief motivated her to support women from all walks of life as they reach for their own “gold.” She’s held positions as a fashion editor, a television style host, a wardrobe stylist, a fitness and commercial print model, a personal trainer, and bolstered superstars during her tenure in talent management.
Today, Teri lives and works from Wisconsin with her love and their four children. She is an entrepreneur, model, charity advocate and, as co-founder of Stellargirl, a champion of women who strive to live their individual “stellar-ness” through truth, strength, laughter and compassion.

I am also talking about finding high quality fashion dupes - I need your help making the decision! Let’s chat on IG about your thoughts on buying dupes vs. the real thing.
My friend, I hope you are staying well and being smart! Since we will be wearing masks for a while, you should check out Second Wind for chic and fashionable masks. I am really excited to get mine and change up my mask game a little!

I am dropping a few truth bombs about COVID-19 and wearing a mask in this episode. Where I am in Arizona, the cases per capita is higher than a lot of places but masks still haven’t been mandated. I have been wearing a mask everywhere I go not only to protect myself but also for the safety of others. I’ve struggled with how to share this with you but I knew it had to be said! I would love to connect with you on IG about this! Please feel free to reach out and let’s chat!

I am also sharing two of my new beauty brands with you - Babor and By Terry. These are both Europeans brands and have really high quality ingredients that I have been obsessed with lately. The EU actually bans 1,328 chemicals from cosmetics that are known or suspected to cause cancer, genetic mutation, reproductive harm or birth defects. In comparison, the U.S. FDA has only banned or restricted 11 chemicals from cosmetics. (sited from SafeCosmetics.org)

Erica’s Bio:
I’m Erica, the creator behind Coming Up Roses. And I’m really friggin’ stoked you’re here. I’m a Philadelphia-based blogger and podcaster, wife to Jamie, mama to Olivia, wine-and-cheese enthusiast and soon-to-be-published book author. I also help fellow bloggers monetize their influence through pitching and politely persisting the ultimate brand partnerships through my online course, BossPitch!
In other news, I’m fueled by strong coffee, loud laughter, a bold lip, and great accessories.
