The Gospel must permeate our lives. Jesus should so consume us that we are transformed spirit - soul - body to look and act like Him. In order for temptation to be valid two things must be true. There must be both a desire and the ability to fulfill a promise given. Satan will offer us counterfeit versions of the legitimate desires that God has given us. Although these counterfeits are quick and easy to obtain, the price the enemy exacts for them is much too high. Don't submit to Satan's authority. Fear, condemnation, and shame for sin will keep us from God. It creates a barrier and prevents us from achieving intimacy with God. The work of the cross removed that barrier. Under the law the high priest sacrificed animals once a year to cover the sins of the people for that year. Jesus sacrificed Himself for the forgiveness and cleansing of sin once and for all time. Jesus has washed all of our sins away and justified us from all things. When we sin we need to remember that Jesus has condemned sin and set us free from the law of sin and death. Our sins have been forgiven by the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. All of them - past, present, and future sins. They are not forgiven because we confess them. God saved you because He loves you not because you earned it. God does not punish us for sin but He does discipline us in love. His love is unconditional. Sin has its own penalties and consequences built in it so when we sin, we need to immediately repent, declare the goodness of the Lord, and declare we are righteous in Him. We are born into the family of God and properly positioned into sonship so we can receive our inheritance. Even so we will still face challenges in this life. Jesus is a master carpenter. He has to tear down the wrong in our lives before He can build us up. During this construction phase we are vulnerable. The manifestation of the power of God through us is limited only by us - what we can receive and conceive. In the scriptures Jesus says that He is the vine and God is the husbandman. Another name for husbandman is vinedresser. A vinedresser prunes, trains, and cultivates the vine so that it may reach its full potential. The Father is our Vinedresser. He knows what we need so that we can effectively travel the path He has set for us. Confusion sets into our lives when we stop submitting to His caretaking and try to go another way. We are spirit beings created by God to take dominion and subdue. He never intended for us to dominate each other but rather to rule over our own flesh, our own homes, and over the darkness around us. Judgment must begin in the Lord's house, and we live in that time. As members of the body of Christ, the Lord wants us to act as "salt" so others become thirsty for Christ and righteous living. We are the light that helps others to see and bring clarity. It is God's job to judge the outsiders. As believers of the real church, it is our job to give a hand to outsiders instead of pointing fingers. We must provide the outsiders Jesus, not judgment!

The world is under judgment and destruction is in the air. By honoring the Lord and sanctifying Him in your heart and your whole life, you will be safe. Be on your guard! Jesus came preaching the kingdom of God is at hand. This is a spiritual kingdom in which God rules and reigns. We can become a citizen of this kingdom by being born again. When we choose Jesus and become a part of this kingdom we then have access to everything in the kingdom. Our lives can be filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. We can be overcomers in this corrupt world. God wants what is best for us. When we submit to and serve Him, He will add everything we need to our lives.

The centurion was an outsider. Because he was not of the seed of Abraham he could not have a relationship with Jesus. He had heard of Jesus. He believed in Him and in His word. Because of his faith his servant was made whole. We must also believe - trust - in Jesus as well as His word.

Jesus asked His disciples, "Why are you fearful?". They were afraid because they did not believe that Jesus would save them. During times of adversity and crisis we often experience this same type of fear. The fire comes to show us the holes in our faith. What do we do once our unbelief has been revealed? There is nothing Satan can do that will hurt your standing with God. The work of the cross is perfect and complete. Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you are born again. Your spirit man is cleansed in an instant and your name will surely be found written in the Lamb's Book of Life. When we submit ourselves to Him He will cleanse our soul so that we look like Him and do His works. These good works we do after our conversion are a reflection of the glorious change that Christ has brought into our lives. We do not perform good works in an afford to receive righteousness. At the wedding in Cana the Spirit of God moved upon the water and transformed it. When the governor of the wedding feast experienced the water that had been made wine he proclaimed that the best was saved for last. The Lord wants us to be fruitful and advance in life. When we advance we also help those around us to advance. He often responds to our prayers with a word in seed form. Once that word is received into the soil of our hearts it produces fruit. But watch out! When we allow the cares of life to consume us we become all choked up, and unfruitful. It is official! We are living in the last days. These are indeed perilous times and Father has already equipped the Church to stand firmly confident on His Word. One of promises He has given to us is commanding power. Psalm 91:15 says, "He shall call upon me and I will answer him". This my friend, is power with God to manifest His Kingdom in the Earth.
