The truth is if you get the right information with the right help there is no reason why you should fail
I will like to give an important clarity between pivoting and failure.
Sometimes you see people start a business with a specific business idea but further tests later revealed that the idea was a poor one
but rather than stopping, they continue to test and test until they finally get it right just like what a scientist will do.
This is pivoting, and not failure
See This is you refining your business to match what your consumers need. This happens a lot in the software industry
Failure on the other is when you give up entirely on the project because on releasing your product
the market hasn’t responded the way you want it to or expected.
So you give up and maybe moving on to an entirely different project.
Other types of failure that can be avoided include
System failure and Red tape failure
System failure is when you either have too many processes in your business that not connected, out of date or inconsistent
Red tape failure - The red tape failure occurs as you grow and become bigger. More like the side effect of documenting processes
When you have each and every step documented with little space to manoevure then this will form some kind of red tape in your organization.
I give examples and solutions on how these can be avoided in your businesses.
