Before anybody else was podcasting--okay maybe there were some people podcasting but not many--Mike Matthews (back then known as Michael Matthews) brought you THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH. It was based on a radio show called "The Santa Fe Cafe" which he performed nightly for 12 years in Ventura County. Here are the early eff-eff-effizodes of that podcast which a year later would morph into Mike's Daily Podcast.

This week we tackle the crazy world of corporate America and how being spat out of it is such a wonderful experience. Visits from a myriad of characters! Truly bizarre!
In this "effizode" we DON'T discuss the election and we DON'T try to analyze what happened to the Democrats and we DON'T do anything except have a very bizarre theater-of-the-mind-ish kind of time. If that sounds boring then you need to go listen to more political analysis on another podcast where "news" or "politics" or "somewhat intelligent" are in the title. Good luck with that. Oh, and we give "Project Runway" its COMEUPPANCE.
