A Good Ride: Recent Episodes

This episode we ride to the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island. As you will see, getting there and getting home was half the fun.
Our mate Stuart Shaw took some footage from his bike during a recent 400cc race at Phillip Island Motorcycle Grand Prix Track.
It takes longer than going straight down the freeway, but it's a lot more interesting and scenic.
Featuring fellow AGR'ers Joe Losinno and Michael Coates, a fairly short ride but it goes through great motorcycling country on a decent road. This ride starts out from Merimbula and goes north to Bega along sweeping curves and open plains, and then west to Steeple Point along the Snowy Mountains Highway, through some great twisty sections. The ride from Bermagui to Merimbula is probably the best ride I’ve done around the Sapphire Coast. It was a very enjoyable mix of open countryside, twisty roads through bushland, wide rivers, and coastal scenery.
