A study of the book of Acts reveals so much about the way we should be living as believers in this world. It is an account of how Jesus built the Church, and how the Holy Spirit has helped it spread across the entire globe. It serves as a blueprint for our work as we continue Jesus' ministry on earth. The awesome gift of the Holy Spirit is the complete package - He is all the power and guidance we will ever need in this life to accomplish all that we are called to. It's time for us, the Church, to stand up and proclaim the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - empowered by the Holy Spirit and completely unhindered!
When God moves, people will notice. The Holy Spirit isn't known for being subtle. Yet it will often attract ridicule, or it will be an opportunity for a counterfeit, leading some churches to stifle the Spirit or keep Him in a back room somewhere. Despite the obstacles, the Church must remain fully submitted to God and settle for nothing less than his perfect will. We can't back down from what the Holy Spirit wants to do - He will guide us into all truth. Let's decide today to be a people that are not moved by flesh or emotion, but people who are truly Spirit led!
Pastor Caleb, our student pastor, drops some serious truth during our Fearless Take over service. The current "woke" culture is trying it's hardest to sneak lies into our hearts and minds in an attempt to undermine the objective truth. However, the Word is filled with life-giving truth that is in direct opposition to the lies of enemy. Thank God for the Word and the unwavering truth within it that allows us to destroy the lies of the enemy, so that we can walk in freedom and victory - and help others to do the same!
In these times, we must learn to be skillful hearers - of the written Word and the inward witness of the Holy Spirit. God's voice is the most important voice we could listen to but we have to cultivate the ability to hear it. We need to choose carefully what we feed on and fill up with; it will have an effect on how we hear from God.
Our God is a generational God. Many times in the Word, He shows us how things follow the bloodline. He has given us access to lavish blessings that flow to future generations; but He also gave us the free will to disobey and reject Him, and He warns of the curses that follow generations of those who make that choice. Thank God it only takes one believer to break a curse and change the whole bloodline! Learn how to change the direction of your bloodline today!
Jesus has called every one of us to be fishers of men, and He has fully equipped us to do what He has asked us to do. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us as we witness. Thank God, He is always with us! The Holy Spirit helps us to embrace our diversity, reject offense, and be effective in our ministry to others.
God sees our faith and it is what gives Him access to work in our lives. To be a great mother, one must cultivate and live by great faith. We need to put our faith in the right place - Jesus; and then we have to stay focused on the promises we have in His Word. We can't let fear, strife, offense, or any distractions of this world get in the way of what we are believing God to do in our lives and in our families. Motherhood isn't easy and faith is definitely a fight, but we are well equipped to win the battle every time!
Like so many other things in God's Kingdom, receiving from Him is an inside-out process. God is always faithful to fulfill every single promise we could ever find in His Word. However, it's up to us to bring it from the spirit realm into physical reality with our faith, our actions, and our words. In this message, God has given us a very specific word to help us understand our role in receiving from Him. Don't forfeit your victory or miss your miracle altogether because of your mouth!

Knowing your enemy is crucial to defeating him. Satan works through accusation, deception, and temptation to keep us in bondage and prevent us from accomplishing God's will for our lives. But thank God for His Word which exposes Satan's tactics and gives us the power to overcome him every time!
It is well known that anger has negative effects on our physical health, but how does it affect our spiritual lives? The Word tells us that anger is a hindrance to hearing God's voice and progressing in our walk with Him - that's pretty serious. These seven examples in the Bible can teach us much about how anger starts, how to handle it, and the consequences of unresolved anger.
The reason Jesus came to this world in the flesh was to pursue us and restore what was lost - our rightstanding with God, our fellowship with Him, and our authority. Jesus gives us 3 parables in the gospel of Luke that reveal so much about how He pursues us. But they also say alot about how we are to pursue the lost in this broken world and welcome them home into the Kingdom.
Jesus said many times during His ministry that He came in the Father's name to do the Father's work. Now we are to come in His name and continue His work. He operated under the authority given to Him and we do too! The promises all throughout His Word make it undeniably clear that healing is available to us today through Jesus and faith in His name.
We all have an assignment and it's about so much more than just our own lives. Let's take a look at how Jesus used faith-filled words so that we can use His name, along with our own faith-filled words, more appropriately and powerfully. God needs our faith and our words to accomplish His will in this fallen world.
It's time for the body of Christ to learn how to use the name of Jesus properly. It's not a magical incantation, it's faith in the name that channels its power. We have been given authority in His name, so all of heaven backs us up when we use the name of Jesus in faith and in line with the Word!
Our God isn't just a Sunday God. He's always speaking and we should expect to hear Him. He's speaking in many ways through many routes, but it is our responsibility to train our spiritual ears to hear His voice. One word from God can change a life forever!

An eternity in Heaven is an exciting and motivating reality for believers. Similarly, Hell should be an equally motivating reality for all those who don't know Jesus. Our mission is to share Jesus, and be the bridge between Heaven and Hell to save as many as possible. Let's make Heaven crowded!
Throughout generations, Jesus has meant so much to some people that they were willing to go the ends of the Earth and endure persecution to share the gospel with a lost and dying world. Is Jesus and the assignment He has given us as equally important to us? Learn to share the good news passionately and strategically!
The days of casual commitment to the things of the Lord are over. A world crying out for hope needs to hear the Good News of Jesus! In this message, Pastor Lisa equips and encourages us to be an active and effective witness for the Kingdom.
