Arguably the 'easiest' question of today's quiz. Yet it almost stumped today's contestants!
Did you get all five questions right today? :) - Taz
Taz tells us the story of a man in Georgia who had the last laugh after a rude ex-employer tried to give him 90,000 pennies!
FINALLY the age-old question of ‘what’s growing over there?’ will be answered when the new Crop ID Tags are installed across our region from today.
The Tags will be placed in convenient locations next to fields across Bundaberg and surrounds, highlighting what crop is being grown. Complete with educational info on the crop, farm and people working the land. Kids will also be able to track which fields they’ve seen using the new ‘Know Your Farmer’ app also launching later in the week!
Local Radio Superstar and Bundaberg royalty, Tracey Sergiacomi, met with Bundaberg Crop Lovers & Co. owner Dan ‘The Man’ Fields yesterday at the unveiling of Australia’s first Crop ID Tag location right here in Bundaberg.
“Finally I can stop arguing with my partner about what’s being grown when we’re driving to Bargara! Even though I rarely look out my windows of my new Bentley” Trace explained. Mr Fields was also overjoyed at the community response thus far.
“It’s amazing seeing my vision become a reality after all these years” he said. “I hope this initiative ignites the passion in our kids for farming the agriculture industry as a whole!”
Bundaberg should expect the full rollout of ID Tags to be completed by the end of April Fools Day!
