3 Key Insights
A podcast allows you to build a large audience of your ideal clients, promote your product or service and position yourself as an authority to make a bigger impact and difference in the world.
It is important to understand that at the heart of every man beats the heart of a badass and a warrior, the world today has conspired to make men soft.
Men need to understand that they were put here on this earth, to provide for themselves and for their families.
The truth is most of us do not want to take 100% responsibility for our lives, we want to blame and we want to avoid.
It is important to call bullshit on yourself and the people you are close to.

On this episode of the Practical Broker podcast, I had the pleasure of interviewing Colt Charlebois. Colt originally started as a real estate agent, he grew a big team selling over 100 homes a year and he later realized that selling real estate was not his passion.
After going through some trials and tribulations, he took a leap that a lot of people are scared to do by following his passion. He shares how that happened and how he was able to make a big shift from real estate into the world of coaching.
3 Key Insights
In the beginning there is a place of stability that you need to get to before you can explore some of the greater things you are interested in.
You can get started with a small “WHY”, it doesn’t have to be anything earth-shattering, just get in there with a small contribution.
3.You can accelerate your growth and development by being actively involved in a community with a group of peers that you respect and look up to.

Key Insights From This Episode
The market right now is on hold but there is still movement and activity in the market.
It is advisable to still be involved in inequities. When the markets come down, they tend to come down the most but they tend to also be the ones that bounce back the quickest.
There are some industries that are flourishing during this pandemic, especially in the tech space.

It is important to consider your spouse's needs and make sure you have a clear vision of why you are doing what you do instead of just having a random number of properties you want to own because it feels good to own a large number of properties.
Learn how to raise capital so that you don’t need to give total control of your ability to buy properties to the bank.
If you own the beginning of your day, then the rest of your day becomes easy. If you don't own the beginning of your day, then your day owns you.

The Credit Game With Richard Moxley
Hi! I’m Chad Robinson and this is the first-ever episode of the Practical Broker, we have brought aboard Richard Moxley author of the book The Nine Rules of Credit, and The Credit Game
Richard Moxley is one of Canada's leading authorities on personal credit. After seven years as a mortgage broker, he had had enough in watching people forced to pay thousands of dollars in excess fees and rates, all because no one had taught them the basic rules of credit. He plunged into the field and has since developed a program to educate North Americans on how to save money and strengthen one's credit rating.
Today's podcast covers how Richard Moxley got his footing in the mortgage industry, how he's made his mark, and how he had used the knowledge he's learned over the years to help others through his two books, The Nine Rules of Credit and The Credit Game.
