When a talented artist and multi-award-winning entrepreneur are different faces of the same person and they come together to devote their greatest passion, we know for sure that something great can happen. As founder of Gigloop, Felipe Callado was the protagonist of a revolution in the electronic music market and after winning some of the biggest innovation awards in the industry (International Music Summit Ibiza and French Tech Ticket), Felipe today carries out an impressive return to the decks wherein less than 6 months already has performed shows all over the world. There are dozens of shows that already total 4 continents, 9 countries, with 3 tours in South America, including one with an impressive 20 gigs in only 31 days and tickets to the main clubs and festivals of the continent, such as Baum (Bogotá), Electronic Arts Festival (Barranquilla), Club Room (Santiago), among many others. But it is in the studio and in his DJ sets that we can see the impact of Felipe Callado's astonishing growth. His singular style passes by different genres from house to techno and Felipe masterfully blends it with epic and hypnotic nuances to create his unique sound. His tracks have received huge support and have been played by the biggest names and legends of electronic music such as Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia, and his performances guarantee a highly contested return by any passing club or festival.

This is a very special mix recorded from one of the most amazing festivals in South America. Ame Laroc festival is a massive 3 day festival that happens during Brazilian Carnival. The festival is in a small city (Valinhos) located 80km from São Paulo, and happens in the middle of a beautiful valley surrounded by the Brazilian rainforest. It consists in 2 stages, Laroc Stage a massive 6k ppl stage with a more mainstream direction and had artists like Timmy Trumpet, W&W, Yves V + other 20 big mainstream names. The second stage, Ame Stage is a more underground oriented, for 4k ppl and featured artists like Joris Voorn, Guy Gerber, Claptone, Oxia, Franky Rizardo and more 20 great artists. I had the honor to open the Ame Stage and played 2 hours of my music for the most incredible, music connected crowd I could ask for.

La Terraza is undoubtedly one of the most special events in South America, maybe in the whole planet. It's a massive open air event for more than 5000 people, amazing happy crowd, unique atmosphere and a soul that you only can find in places that are trully build with love. It was a huge pleasure to be part of this and to share my music with you!

2018 was undoubtedly a complex and beautiful journey. A rollercoaster of milestones and emotions blended in some unique and unforgetful memories. it was a journey which passed by 26 countries and led to some lifetime experiences, from spending the night of my birthday in the Maldives surrounded by the shiny luminous phytoplanktons, to camping in the middle of the Sahara Desert and facing a sky that was so full of stars that words would never describe it properly. It was also a year of important achievements and huge personal growth, but most importantly, it showed me that I can't be apart from music. It was when I found myself in the best and more mature moment of my music career and it ends represented in this 60 minutes mix. A deep, groovy and hypnotic odyssey that compiles the whole complexity and beauty hidden in these last 365 days, leading music to express some feelings that words simply cannot. It is without any doubt one of the best works I did so far and I'm more than happy to share that with you all. I wish you all an unpredictable 2019 and full of beautiful surprises!
