Album number 2 of Ceschi’s final Sad, Fat trilogy, “Sans Soleil,” completely ignores cohesiveness. It is a fragmented collage; a raucous yet grief-stricken, genre-ignoring, dirty kiss of a musical eulogy to dead friends, youth, and lost musical scenes & inspirations. "Sans Soleil" is driven by the type of experimentation that defined Ceschi’s earliest work 15 years earlier. No song on the album sounds quite like any other, with sounds spanning from grimy lo-fi Hip Hop to heart-wrenching folk to prog-reggaeton Spanish rap to spoken word poetry to cinematic pop. There are no rules here other than the urgent need to write from a perspective of painfully blunt honesty. Contributors include Yoni Wolf of Why?, Open Mike Eagle, POS of Doomtree, Onry Ozzborn of Dark Time Sunshine, Squalloscope, & many more.

Andy The Doorbum & Justin Aswell - two artists from Charlotte , NC's inspiring music community. Though his earliest roots were in visual art, punk & bizarro lo-fi electronic home recording, Andy's projects range from lush experimental folk to full scale theatrical performances that really have to be seen to be properly felt & understood.
Justin Aswell is a world renown hip hop / electronic producer recognized for his superhuman finger-drumming abilities & Maschine mastery.
"Intent" has a combination of Andy's growling, deep yet melodically intriguing singing and potent, existentialist lyricism over Justin's brand of dark, heavy beats that remind me of something like a doom Portishead with more found sound & atmospheric elements.
"Those who know me well are already aware of my affinity towards soaking in the tub. There's no greater reward at the end of a long day than sliding into a 40 degree pool of sudsy water with a cooler of beer at arm's length and some sweet jams on the stereo. Though i usually only listen to grindcore during the daylight hours, bath time at Camp Pepper demands a precise musical accompaniment: Adagio tempo, clean tones, and somber melodies that evoke a sense of hopeless optimism. So with the summer drawing to a close, I'm pleased to share with you some of my sad bathtub favorites.
