Welcome to the inspiring journey of David Smith, a resilient individual who has overcome immense challenges to reshape his life and now strives to make a positive impact on others. In this podcast, we delve into David's remarkable life story.
At the age of 4 or 5, David entered the care system, embarking on a tumultuous path that lasted until he turned 16. Following this, he found himself living in hostels and even on the streets until a pivotal moment propelled him to join the army at 19. However, the scars of abuse suffered during his time in the care system left a lasting impact, altering his perception of the world and instilling a profound mistrust in others until they prove themselves.
David's journey took an incredible turn when he served 8 years in the Grenadier's Guards as a Lance Corporal and Physical Training Instructor. He faced the challenges of two deployments in Afghanistan, where his courage and selflessness shone through. His heroic actions in 2012 earned him a mention in dispatches for saving a fellow soldier's life, who had been struck by a sniper's bullet.
The shadows of tragedy have also loomed over David's life, as he lost his mother at 16, his biological father at 19, and his sister at 27. The weight of these losses, combined with the haunting memories of his military experiences, led David to grapple with PTSD and depression, pushing him to the brink of ending his life on three occasions.
Despite the darkness that engulfed him, David's spirit refused to be extinguished. After leaving the army in 2017 due to his battle with PTSD, he navigated a winding road of mental health hospitals and treatments. Over the past 5 years, he courageously opted to work on his mindset, striving for healing without relying solely on medication. In the last 2 years, he embraced his role as a mindset soldier, utilising his experiences to create content that not only transformed his own life but also aims to inspire and assist others in reshaping their perspectives.
David's journey continued to evolve as he expanded into public speaking, ventured into property, and launched a compelling podcast. His influence extended to the field of occupational health, where he now dedicates his efforts. As this podcast unfolds, you'll witness David's unwavering determination culminate in the forthcoming launch of his own life and mindset coaching venture.
Amidst his trials and triumphs, David found solace and enlightenment through his two beautiful children, Storie and Naevie. Their presence illuminated his path to becoming a better person, teaching him invaluable lessons in emotional growth.

Alongside banking, Davinder invested in property to create a secondary income, which led to leaving the corporate rat race in Feb 2017.
The first deal (a London BTL) was self-funded with help from immediate family. Since going into property full-time, each investment property has been funded by Private Investors, who receive a healthy monthly interest on their capital.

Adebayo was born in Lagos, Nigeria where he lived until he was 15 years old. He suffers from sickle cell anaemia, a genetic condition affecting his red blood cells. In July 2006 his life changed..

Alfred Dzadey was born on the 25th of November in 1992. His professional career started off with him realising that this wasn’t his best opportunity to build the wealth that he aspired to achieve so early in his career, so this led him to explore opportunities outside the corporate world.
He decided to use his life savings to educate himself and focus on his personal development so that he could become more valuable in the marketplace.
His first business venture was in concerts where he would borrow private funds and offer a good return to his investors while he utilised the capital with a partner to run concerts for university students.
In parallel he got himself educated in property investing. His first property project was to convert a residential home into multiple units for rental income.
He successfully managed to raise finance once again from private investors to carry out this deal. The results of this deal were fantastic. This only furthered his drive to continue working hard and achieving his goals.

Katie grew up in Basingstoke in a loving family home.
She was a very sickly child and born jaundiced and didn't start walking until late. In fact, Katie got the nickname “bean bag” because her mum would put her down and she come back and she would still be sat there hours later an she just wouldn't move because and no one knew at the time that it was actually because her joints hurt so much that she didn't want to crawl or stand up.
Katie has had multiple general anaesthetics consisting of:
• Appendix removed
• Gall bladder removed
• Thyroid Removed
• 4 wisdom teeth and 6 other teeth removed
• Ovarian cyst ruptures
• Broken back
• Broken neck
• Dislocated left ankle
• Dislocated both knees
• Dislocated left hip
• Dislocated both shoulders
• Dislocated right elbow
• Dislocated jaw
• Dislocated wrist
• Dislocated all of her fingers
• Heart surgery
Katies lives with arthritis in three separate joints.
Pneumonia three times and a spontaneous pneumothorax twice once was full once was a partial.
Katie has also contracted malaria when she travelled to Ghana causing her liver, bladder and lungs to stop functioning.
Katie’s mental health took a huge nosedive. Thankfully shortly after she got diagnosed with Ehler Danlos.
Katie had to find a way to cope with her mental health and she found yoga, she hasn’t looked backed since!
Katie travelled to India did a 200 hour yoga teacher training course came back started teaching and was a different person, she lost four stone in weight and started eating better started exercising got hypo thyroid medication, changed her diet but didnt understand why she needed to, she studied nutritional therapy so that she could understand it.
Katie still was not fully satisfied with knowing the body, so she studied to become a personal trainer to fully understand balance, diet, mobility and strength.
Katie’s goal is to continue to manage her own condition better and prove to people who live with chronic conditions that you can manage it and you can learn strategies to help improve your life.
Katie is an inspiration and is the missing piece to the puzzle in all our lives!

Today im chatting to Robbie & Dean about how and where they got started. To how they are running a successful business in the current economic climate.
Victoria Eley is a mother of 3, wife, and property entrepreneur.
Originally raised in south london it was tough, as victoria's parents suffered with a type of dwarfism called Achondroplasia which resulted in bullying at school and struggles within the home.
In later life Victoria went on to become a veterinary nurse and eventually managed 24 practices!
10 years ago while performing a life saving procedure on a dog she slipped 2 discs in her lumbar spine and it changed her life as she knew it, from ending her career in veterinary medicine down to having to change the car she drove.
After months of physio and some steroid injections she was better but never back to normal.
Then 2 years ago they bulged again significantly and culminated in 9 days in hospital last January. With more steroid injections and electrical denervation of my right leg she was finally discharged home.
Victoria went from not being able to move, to learning how to walk again, to running 5k, running 10k, running a marathon and now an ULTRA! She truly is an inspiration to everyone.
Fast forward to today and Victoria is heavily focused on investing in property with her husband.
They have chosen to help the less fortunate and more vulnerable people in our society.

Tim Matcham realised that his pension was not going to provide for him and his family so invested heavily in his education to become a professional property investor. A Graduate of Simon Zutshi's Property Mastermind Programme, he went on to do a number of Joint Ventures and specialised in raising private finance from investors who were keen to see a better return than they were able to get elsewhere. In the last couple of years he has raised over £3.5 million for a variety of projects and now helps his students break through their limiting beliefs to accelerate their property journey.
He realised he needed to take control of his own future and is now keen to help others do the same. He founded Blue Line Coaching early in 2017 to help reach a wider audience. The Blue Line idea came from running the New York Marathon in 2011, a truly spectacular experience, where they paint a blue line from start to finish. Tim says, "by putting one foot in front of the other and taking the next step we know we can reach our goal", a great metaphor for your property journey.

Aren Deu has battled with anxiety for 30+ years. He has come from an academic background of degrees and masters qualifications. But he since realised that the corporate world was never for him, and his calling lay somewhere else.
Spending years working on £100m projects for leading organisations he wanted to make a change and live on his own terms and be able to provide value and make a difference on his own terms.
So he took the plunge. A very scary and difficult one!
Aren became a personal trainer to fund his ventures and create a successful coaching business from scratch. This allowed him to not only improve his own health and fitness but also gave him the opportunity to work with over 150 people and change their lives for the better.
He then became financially free from property. But it wasn’t easy. It took an incredible amount of hard work, determination and sleepless nights. Add to that he made a hell of a lot of mistakes.
With this, he indirectly learned the importance of building a brand which had allowed him to raise over £1,000,000 to fund his own development projects. So he began incorporating this into his own teachings with clients.
