Our 40th episode is a follow-up to our discussion on gender and religion. This time we are focusing on LGBTQ+ identities in religion. Hope discusses Judaism and homosexuality, Nils shares briefly about the pope and the Catholic church, and Hannah talks about the importance of affirming communities.

Our 39th episode covers just a small part of violence against women in honor of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women coming up on November 25. Hannah, Dario, and Nils talk about some of the dangerous situations for women in countries like Colombia, the United States, China, and throughout parts of Europe. Hannah also discusses Female Genital Mutilation and some of the ways activists are fighting to end the practice. We close talking about ways that CEPALC here in Colombia is working to end violence against women.
