Support for AES67 on the Dante side of the AVB-D16 would allow for lower latency when multitracking on a linux based computer using Merging Technologies ALSA driver.  This is useful due to there currently being no good way to get Dante onto a linux machine other then buying a digital mixer that can act as a bridge between Dante and USB.  This will increase latency due to passing audio over a USB connection.
