A pen with different sizes and opacities could make a editing a pleasure!
An eraser also with different sizes and different deleting opacities also!
A harmonic tool could extract harmonics for editing(odd, even, 5th, 7th, 3th and not harmonic parts) to make them stronger or weaker oder duplicate it.
It should appear like a MIDI track with keyboard ruler vertically, the note grid which you actually have and very important: Add the existing layered note editing feature also within the spectral view that you can use chords and melodies from other note tracks as reference!
