This past Monday, March 18th marked the 50th anniversary of the 1974 Canadian release of Rush's debut album on Moon Records. The album was then re-released on Mercury/Polygram (with the revised pink logo) later that year on August 10, 1974. In 1995 it was given Gold status by the RIAA, and a 40th anniversary Rush Rediscovered vinyl box set was released in 2014.
