Esther, who has quickly become comfortable in her royal surroundings, has every reason not to act when her people need her. That is when her uncle, Mordecai, shakes her to the core with a critical message that she needed to hear.  

Am I comfortable in my surroundings?  Have I grown tone-deaf to the clear need of God’s people around me?  Do I need a wake up call from Mordecai, also?
