·    Being Made New – When we first came to know of God, we were introduced to the Lord through religious teaching and doctrine. Unfortunately, our religion did not set us free, or change anything about us.  Just as the Lord offered the Pharisees and the Sadducees a new beginning, a fresh start, the Lord is offering us a way to be made new through him. We cannot reject the Lord’s calling as the Pharisees and Sadducees did in keeping with their religious traditions. We need to be made new in Christ, in the attitudes of our mind and heart.
