I want the republicans not voting for McCarthy to hold out, no matter what. If the butthurt McCarthyites vote for the marxist democrat, so be it.

Trump has a different opinion. He thinks it would be best to get the drama over and send the democrats leading the house on home. I think Trump is wrong. Trump thinks McCarthy can be embarrassed into doing the right thing. I don’t. I should note that McCarthy is better than some of the lesser evils, but I’m no longer willing to settle.

But here is the fact, the entire house with a few exceptions is compromised. They will not select an uncompromised leader. So, in that respect, Trump is right since you are not going to get anyone any better. I don’t care. Fire the shots and take one down.

There is no one that is in 100% agreement about everything unless it’s your clone.

EDIT: I’ll just add, as I alluded to above, the outcome is not one that you’re going to like. The house republicans are at least 50% deeply corrupt, and probably another 25% are compromised. The remainder are not perfect as many are stupid or stuck on being a congressman. We only have a handful of decent ones, and none of them have any chance at the speaker.
