From politicians, to cops, to doctors, to “journalists” and media generally, we’ve gone from a high-trust, to a low-trust society in only a few scant years, with NO-trust society rapidly coming at us. All thanks to a Power that thinks it can easily maintain control over a polity that has learned, by repeated demonstration, that their would-be Masters are wholly unworthy of trust. Those Masters aren’t going to like how that plan works out for them in the end, I think.
