Th “Voice of the Pirates” has left us for what comes after life on this earth.
Jeff Charles, the longtime (30+ years) Pirates announcer, traveling with the East Carolina BB team, passed away Friday in New Orleans.

Sad time for the ECU faithful. He will be missed.
