We’d all better hope that last part isn’t so; Trump isn’t immortal, so if it is, we’re all doomed. Not that he stands any chance whatsoever of being President again anyway.

What Soros wants, I think, is to have a big say in who becomes President. To that end, Soros is playing Trump and DeSantis against each other, and Trump is cooperating fully with him in that effort. That alone tells me plenty, all I really need to know. Nobody ever defeated Evil by playing along with it, not that I know of at least.

Of those Trump accomplishments you listed above—which I applauded him for at the time myself, loud and long—nearly all were undone by lunchtime on Biden’s first day. It’s of no interest to me who roosts behind the Resolute Desk now, other than as the dumbshow it is, pure entertainment.

Trump was the best President in my entire lifetime, for sure and certain, and he can still make a meaningful contribution, something else I’ve said before. But his ego won’t allow it, and that’s a damned shame. Whatever else he may be, he is neither a saint nor a savior.
