Is that a joke, Mike? Nothing, not one thing that DeSantis has done is of real import to the average American. It’s been said and it’s true, that Jeb Bush was a good governor of Florida.

Real, lasting import? DeSantis is in the fortunate position of having a overwhelming republican legislature that works with the governor. It’s mostly feel good/look good stuff though. The really hard stuff has been in place since long before DeSantis.

That’s not a knock on DeSantis. He has been a good Gov. But that is a fairly easy job when you are surrounded by a republican legislature instead of a party apparatus bent upon destroying America while lining their pockets.

Put a dem governor and legislature in Florida and every bit of that can and will be undone in the first term. Probably in the first month.

The position of governor and the position of president are not even remotely the same. And there are more snakes in the DC Swamp than the entire Everglades. No comparison is remotely possible.

We’ll never fucking win, because we can’t even accept a winner when they come along.
