Daddy Bush said Reaan’s fiscal plans amounted to “voodoo economics”, yet somehow found himself selected, twice, as the great man’s vice-president, and helped him win two national elections, including the biggest electoral landslide in U.S. history.

This is just politics, and worse, it’s not the semi-finals, or even the regular season, it’s just exhibition games. Save “last straws” for when it matters, and please, I pray, stop doing the MSM’s work for them.

DeSantis would have trouble filling a Denny’s outside FL, and Trump regularly sells out stadiums, and would even do so in North Dakota or Wyoming. And there ain’t gonna be two candidates on the ticket from the same state. When that happens, it’s called a senatorial election, not a presidential one.

And rest assured, the minute he ever were to become the front-runner, in this or any future year, DeSantis – or anyone else – will suddenly stop getting a tongue bath and softball media coverage, and instead find a media blowtorch turned at his face, a gauntlet at which Trump is a Jedi master, while DeSantis is yet a green padawan.

Note the hook in that worm, and stop taking the bait.

And then ponder the question of whether any actual conservative (or even merely “non-captured” Republican) candidate in any election will ever get a fair shake at the polls again in your lifetime.

The suggestion itself is nearly risible, at this point.

Error happened.
