With today's prices, the lumber is probably the most expensive. The blade would be the next most.

But I'm sure we can redneck something together. My Uncle John has a few half telephone poles he salvaged that he'd probably give me. I have a spade with a broken handle. We can sharpen the edge, run the handle through a hole in a piece of 6x6, which I have, and for momentum mount a couple cinder blocks, which I also have. I don't have anything that would cut guide grooves in the telephone poles but we could probably figure something out.

You know, I think that this is doable on the cheap.
