We know smoke can have detrimental effects to our body’s physical and mental health, but how is it affecting Oregon cows? Researchers in Idaho are now looking into some of the effects of wildfire smoke on cattle with some preliminary findings on milk production and health. We spoke with Amy Skibiel, a professor at University of Idaho, and Zach Rose, a dairy farmer at Rogue Creamery.
