While ICU beds are full and healthcare workers are overworked, they’re not the only ones dealing with an influx of patients. Throughout the state, veterinary hospitals and clinics are facing large amounts of new patients, understaffing and burnout. Beyond this, Oregonians seeking care for their pets are seeing longer wait times and being referred to locations other than their neighborhood vet.
