We finish the Torah today with chapters 32-34 of Deuteronomy. Moses' final act is to bless the 12 tribes individually. And then Moses dies. As significant as Moses was as a leader, he is just an episode in the story of God. The story continues in Joshua and the generation moving into the Promised Land.
