When freshwater ecologist and slow food advocate Deb Bogenhuber witnessed Mildura's agricultural land being overwhelmed by relentless dust storms in 2019-2020, she wanted to leave. Instead, Deb and her community began to find solutions to the problem of food sovereignty and water scarcity, while giving landless farmers like Jocelyn Majambere a place to grow and belong.
