A covid vaccination program is about to be rolled out to NT indigenous communities. One step ahead is Captain Sanitiser and his community of Wadeye, 4 and half hours south west of Darwin. Capt Sanitiser, aka Dallas Mugarra, is making another of his slapstick social media videos in community language - this time about vaccination. His work is backed by the Thamarrurr Youth Indigenous Corporation, which is Wadeye-owned but based thousands of kilometres away in the Victorian high country town of Bright. It offers Wadeye students a residential and leadership program.
