The funeral service for two police officers gunned down in Queensland was held today.

Queensland Police Union President Ian Leavers joined Bill Woods this evening to discuss the matter.

He explained who was at the funeral, how community perceptions have changed following the shootings and how police plan to move forward and support officers following the incident.
