Sydney Trains have been hit with a power outage at a less than opportune time, causing major delays for patrons leaving Sydney Olympic Park after the Matilda's 3-1 loss.

The delays were cased due to a power outage at Ashfield.

Sydney Trains Rail Operations director Jas Tumber told John Stanley that Sydney Trains were working hard to fix the issue as soon as possible.
