Unity Theatre in Brenham will be presenting their latest Studio Series production “Yankee Tavern” later this month.

The play will run on the Main Stage from March 23 to April 2.

The plot summary says, “A stranger walks into the Yankee Tavern and a young couple finds themselves caught up in a mind-bending conspiracy that sprang up in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The play isn’t about what did or didn’t happen; it’s about our ideas of truth, fact and belief. It’s about the agony of uncertainty and why we sometimes look so hard for reasons not to believe what’s plainly in front of our eyes.”

Unity Theatre Circle Members and Subscribers can begin making reservations this Monday. Tickets go on sale to the general public the following Monday, March 13.

All subscriber reservations and special price tickets must be purchased by calling the Box Office. However, regular tickets can be purchased online at www.Tickets.UnityBrenham.org.

Tickets are $25 for regular performances, and $19 for the Preview Performance on Thursday, March 23. Student tickets, and any unsold seats 15 minutes prior to curtain are $15 each.

The cast and crew are having a Talk-Back session after the show on the March 23 Preview Night, and there will be a Director’s Chat on Saturday, April 1, half an hour before the show.

Showtimes for “Yankee’s Tavern” are 7:30pm on Thursdays, 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2pm matinees on Sundays.
