Washington Co. Jail photoAn Austin woman was arrested early Thursday morning on marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that early Thursday at 1:10, Officer Eric Crosby stopped a vehicle in the 3000 block of Highway 290 East for a traffic violation. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed the driver, Yadira Michelle Moreno, 20 of Austin, was in possession of marijuana. The driver was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana, Less than 2 ounces, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
