The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred just south of Snook.
Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call at 10pm Saturday night in reference to two subjects who had been shot in the arm.
Burleson County Sheriff’s Deputies, Texas DPS Troopers, and the Burleson County St. Joseph EMS responded to the scene in the 13,000 block of FM 2155.
Two adult male victims were identified and transported to the St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan for non-life threatening injuries.
Both subjects were later discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.
The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case with the assistance of the Texas Rangers.
According to Lt. Jose Garza, a person of interest in the shooting has been identified and contacted by investigators.
The case remains an active investigation, and the identities of the involved persons are being withheld at this time.
