Washington Co. Jail photoTwo people were arrested in separate incidences over the weekend on marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that Friday afternoon at 1:00, Officer Anderson conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Alamo for a traffic violation. Marijuana was located inside the vehicle during a probable cause search of the vehicle. The driver, Ayomide J. Oladeinde, 19 of Richmond, was arrested for possession of marijuana greater than 2 oz and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Washington Co. Jail photoThen Saturday morning at 10:15, Officer Anderson located a suspicious vehicle in the area of 1000 Pine Drive. The driver side door was opened and no one inside. While checking out the suspicious vehicle, the odor of marijuana came from inside the vehicle. Investigation revealed that Jamey L. Rogers, 18 of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana. He was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked for Possession of Marijuana greater than 2 oz.
