One person pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Monday in 21st District Court before Judge J.D. Langley.

48-year-old Ronald Eugene Guyton of Ledbetter was sentenced to 30 years in prison for first degree felony-level Possession of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1, 400 or More Grams, habitual offender status.

The Washington County District Attorney’s Office says Guyton has previous felony convictions and is currently on parole for a sentence from another county.
