We often isolate ourselves when going through suffering. At times, this is because we don't want to burden others with our problems. Hidden beneath that seemingly selfless intention lies a mistaken notion of independence. Just as in Salvation, so as amongst the church, no believer is meant to navigate the issues of life alone. In our suffering, God reminds us that no one is self-reliant. 2 Corinthians 1:8-11
