Headquartered in Birmingham, AE Aerospace specialises in the manufacture of volume prototype components and performing precision machining operations. With the majority of company operations taking place in the aftermarket support field, they have strong links with the UK Aerospace and Marine sectors. AE Aerospace are working together with WM5G - the UK’s first region-wide 5G innovation company and part of the UK’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS), 5G Testbeds and Trials programme - to run trials to demonstrate the role that 5G can play in increasing productivity within the manufacturing and aerospace environment. AE Aerospace will be the first UK SME to deploy a 5G private network, powered by BT’s EE mobile network.
