Beginning May 21, GRTC service changes will include realignments of many routes to serve the new Downtown Transfer Station throughout the day for an easier way to transfer between local bus routes. The Transfer Station is expected to open in mid-June. In the meantime, buses will serve the Temporary Transfer Plaza on 9th Street between Marshall and Leigh Streets. Route 4A Oakwood/Montrose and Route 4B Oakwood/Darbytown will be extended to Oakwood to provide 30-minute service where route 13 currently operates.
