Three Henrico County public schools are participating in a statewide reading program, thanks in part to funding provided by the Virginia Bankers Association and member banks. Holladay Elementary School (sponsored by Chesapeake Bank), Maybeury Elementary School (Chesapeake Bank) and Lakeside Elementary School (First Community Bank) all are participating in the Read to Them program, a nonprofit effort designed to promote family literacy.
