Renovations to the waiting area and restrooms at Amtrak’s Staples Mill station in Henrico County will begin Aug. 21 and continue through September. Most construction work will take place at night, but some may happen during operational hours, according to Amtrak officials. The renovation work will limit seating and restrict or limit access to station amenities (including the restrooms) as it continues, they said.
