John Douglas “Doug" Smith, 62 of Henrico, VA, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on April 12, 2024 at the Bon Secours Hospice House. He was surrounded by the love of his family and friends in his final days. Doug remained a courageous, iron-willed man even throughout his final months, living life to the fullest with pancreatic cancer. Strong faith combined with the happiness Doug found spending time with family, friends and working shepherded the healing in his challenging journey with cancer.
