Henrico County reported 53 new cases of COVID-19 March 12, according to the Virginia Department of Health, with most days remaining in the double-digits. In accordance, the moving seven-day average leveled out at 47 daily cases, reflecting the trend in low cases. Among these new cases was Henrico's second case of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children, named MIS-C for short. The condition, associated with COVID-19, causes inflammation of the heart, lungs, kidneys and other internal organs within children, teens and even young adults.
