Around the 10th of May of 2021, Doctors in Mauritius found a small lump on my neck which then I was diagnosed with an illness called Hodgkin's Lymphoma Disease. Basically, it is a blood cancer.

Although it sounds worse than it is, this type of disease was found quite a while ago (30 years ago or so) and 90% of patients recover & stay in remission after 5 years. Also, it only affects around 9000 people in the US per year.

Everything happened so fast that after 2 weeks of being diagnosed, I left the tiny island of Mauritius to come to get treated in Houston, Texas.

I had to leave my wife (Francesca) and my 2 children (Johanna, three years old, and Jean, 3 months old).
