"Back to School!"

The phrase brings us images of pencils, notebooks, and laptops. Photos at the bus stop will be taken and posted. Children are excited. Teenagers are nervous. Teachers swim in a pool of joy and stress. And we turn on the news and hear about schools: censorship, arguments at school board meetings, lawsuits, charter schools, elections, diversity, equity, inclusion, values, ethics, college loan debt and on and on. So...where do we go from here, as parents or grandparents or community members, seeking healthy adult lives for ourselves and for the next generation?
