How are we doing, Praetoria?Here is the 9th episode of "Lets open Packs!" where i open 25 Chaos Legion packs in the search of more land, wild, and Survival cards. I am really trying to strenghten my deck for these categories. For land cards we are chasing Gold Foil Epics and Legendarys because they have the best bang for our buck and are great for Production. Chaos Legion was the 4th main set release by splinterlands. Although Chaos Legion was massively over printed I still enjoy a lot of the cards, especially from my favorite splinter, Death. Thadius with is debuffs was just a lot of fun to me. Teaming his debuffs with other weaken units or dimoralize really boosted the chances for a win.What did you think of this 25 pack opening? In this Episode two more gladiators enter the Splinterlands IQ Arena. Going head to head for glint and other prizes. In Episode 3 we have DoomBot75 vs YouLoseAgainGaming. Who will go home with the most glint and move on to the winners bracket. It seems like it only took 3 episodes but we have finally started hitting our stride with the Splinterlands IQ Arena. Sound was great, all the players, host, and dev weren't sick and ready to play, and the stream didn't take a dump midway through the game. Splinterlands is a NFT TCG on the Hive Blockchain. There are so many great things in splinterlands like the card art, game play, and One of the best parts of Splinterlands game is the lore behind the cards. This combined with the beautiful card art is what truly gets me emmursed in the game. This is a short based off of the Rewards card Shadowcomb Duskrose. I used the lore art and Grok AI to animate it with some of the lore behind the character. She is a beauty who lost her family to a rival family and she barely escaped with her life. Here is her full lore from the game. Shae'lira Ilyndra was meant to unite two of the Kingdom of Shadowcomb's most powerful houses. Her marriage to the Zol'naeth heir would end generations of shadow war.Her mother presented her with the gown on the eve of the ceremony. Its black silk shimmered violet in the bioluminescent light, woven with threads that bent shadow and refracted the cavern forests' faint glow. A dress for a bride who would become a political bridge.Shae'lira wore it with the serene grace expected of House Ilyndra. She pinned the duskrose, her house's sigil, to her breast. Then she walked through Shadowcomb's cathedral caverns toward her future.Both houses had gathered in the ancient cathedral. Matron Ilyndra stood with Shae'lira's sisters and the house guard. Across from them, House Zol'naeth filled the opposite side—the heir, his mother, their warriors. Witnesses from neutral houses lined the walls.The words were spoken. Shae'lira stepped forward to take the heir's hand.He drew his blade instead.House Zol'naeth fell upon House Ilyndra like a flood. Their warriors had weapons hidden beneath ceremonial robes. The neutral witnesses weren't neutral. They were bought.It was a slaughter.Matron Ilyndra died trying to reach her daughter. Shae'lira's sisters fell protecting each other. The house guard fought outnumbered and died. Shae'lira ran through the chaos and blood, into the tunnels beyond the ceremonial chamber. The sounds of steel and dying followed her until the Deep's endless dark swallowed everything.She collapsed from exhaustion in the lower caverns. House Ilyndra was gone. Everyone she loved was dead. The wedding had never been real. Just bait.Days later, in the ruins of an ancient dwarven outpost, she found Gravesong—a massive double-headed axe, nearly as tall as she stood. The metal was darkened and pitted with corrosion. One blade broad for cleaving, the other serrated for tearing. When she lifted it, the metal seemed to drink the dim light. The corrosion spread where she touched, like rust given purpose.A weapon made to unmake. And in her hands, it would unmake House Zol'naeth.Shae'lira trained in isolation for months. The axe was heavy. She learned patience with it—to wait in the shadows, hidden by the gown's light-bending threads, and strike only when certain. In this video I show the recent updates to the SPL Data Dashboard which is a 3rd party app created and updated by @beaker007 . During my live stream earlier in the day, Dafiz and I, asked beaker if there was a way to post the last few sales of Black Foil or jackpot cards. Beaker informed us that he had the information and where we could find it. In this update though beaker made the infomation easier to access and view. He also fixed a load error or bug that he said was something we may have stumbled upon during the live stream. So within an hour or so he had it up and running and informed me it was ready to go. These apps have been a great resource to the community and I hope beaker knows how much I and most of the community members appreciate what he does. Thanks bud. Here the links I have to his apps. Splinterlands introduced us to the Arena Fanatic last year and this year. The Arena Fanatic being the Twitch Drop NFT Card earned by watching Splinterlands live streams. Well I am starting a campaign to get the Arena Bar Maiden added to the game and drops. Here is a little bit of her lore. Again this is my fan fiction not part of the games lore... Yet. This one is for @snowboarderpete cheers bud. Arena Bar Maiden:Alida Randir-fae was born and grew up on farm between the hills and plains of the Shimmering Coasts just outside of the Capitol City, New Beluroc. Which in her teenage years was Attacked during a conquest via betrayal by Zeddica Blackthorn and Overlord Slade, who "led her forces against New Beluroc"; She lost her family during the attack but never lost heart or love for Praetoria or its people. She lived off what she could gather, earn, or what was given to her out of kindness of the community or strangers. She never let the horrors of her past keep her down but always chose to lift up those around her. And she never forgot her mothers roast chicken recipe or the strong brews her father taught her on the family farm. She dreams every night of earning enough as a Bar Maiden to purchase a new plot and build her own farm one day.Alright well that is all I've got. I'm not a writer or creative as you can tell from above but she is a beauty inside and out. Her bravery and brilliance in battle have led to her being called Nerissa the Hurricane.Nerissa was born and raised by the ocean, and could swim before she could walk.
